Back in May when things were a bit more tough and we were very depressed and worried about what would happen to Kiko, my brother Alex was here with us through it all.
I was very grateful to have had him here and the boys appreciate it as well. I took this photos of them before he left.
Just know I got your back and things will get better. #ad
Watson has reacted so well to the @proplan Veterinary Supplements #CalmingCare, I have noticed he handles stressful situation even better. Him being more calm and relaxed means less stress on Kiko which is a good thing since he needs nothing but good vibes right now.
Having siblings is great! 💛
I decided to take little Harry on our camping trip. I mostly decided this because I wanted him included in some of the adventures we are are having because of Kiko.
We decided that this summer would be epic for Kiko because of his situation. And having Harry be part of it will make it extra special.
Unfortunately this will be Harry’s last camping trip. I give it a go but the sweet guy besides swimming he was not liking it. He was so scared most of the time. I don’t want to put to much stress in this little guy. It’s not good to force your pets to do something they don’t enjoy.
We will still take Harry swimming near the house or just in our bathtub. He likes that too.
Essentials in every adventure; My best friend and food 😜
Update, It’s been two months after Kiko’s amputation and I’m so amazed how well he is doing.
Every obstacle that was in his way he fought through like the little warrior that he is.
I feel the hard part is over but we still have the hardest part to overcome when the time comes.
All I know is that so far I’m immensely happy of what we have achieved as a family and happy that we continue to make new memories together.
Kiko loves napping on his back. When he recently got his leg amputated it was very challenging for him to keep his balance.
After some time when the pain went away and he was getting used to his new self he went back to napping the way he LOVES to. And I’m so glad I captured it on video because it was the cutest thing ever.
I also added some other sweet moments in there 💛
I came to realize that three legged dogs look extra cute sleeping.
After Kiko was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and the time left with him became unknown as a family we decided to take him on a big trip. We wanted to keep creating more memorable moments, adventures, stories between us to add to the ones we already have.
These are some of the moments we had in that trip... #WatsonHugs
Let’s escape the ordinary and find our extraordinary place. #ad
It’s been a little over a month since I started Watson on #CalmingCare from @proplan Veterinary Supplements and I been very satisfied with how its been helping my goodest boy.
He was on a bit of an edge when we were recently going through all changes with Kiko. Now he has been coping better with the situation and I’m happy to see positive results.
525 million dogs in the world and I was lucky enough to have found these two love bugs along my journey.
Los amo de aquí al fin del universo mis bebés 💛
A question I been asked a lot lately is, how is Watson dealing with Kiko’s illness?
At first there was a bit of confusion on his part. I’m guessing he was wondering why Kiko wouldn’t play any more or run after him when he stole his ball.
Often I had to push Watson away because he wanted things to be as before and play rough with Kiko and ended up hurting him.
After some time he stared to realize that Kiko couldn’t do the same things anymore and that he was in a more delicate state.
Watson have been learning and getting use to this new slow Kiko. I think he misses having hyper big sweetie around but he still enjoys just having his buddy around. There is still a lot of hugs to give, lots of naps to enjoy together and just overall be happy he gets to have his best friend with him for now.
Will it be hard for him after kiko is gone?
Yes, we traveled without Kiko once and we were out for two weeks. Trav and I noticed Watson stared to get depressed because Kiko wasn’t around for a long time.
That’s when I realized that Watson will feel the impact of not having Kiko around when the time comes.
