It’s nearly impossible to spot the silver linings when wallowing in self pity.
.
Sometimes a big shove is what you need.
.
Maybe getting fired from something comfortable is what you need to find what lights your fire.
.
Or getting dumped will lead you to see what true love looks like.
.
Maybe losing that business is saving you YEARS of stress?
.
Shoot, even the days that just feel rotten make us grateful for anything better when they come.
.
Learn to take the hits like a champ because you know damn well that better is coming. If don’t believe in better you won’t even see it coming.

Been working on a little social media detox recently. .
I literally have not even had a word to say! That’s when you know a break is good.

I surely love it BUT
the nonstop use of cell phones has me craving a world where we pay more attention to what’s right in front of us. Present tense. Full attention. No distractions.

What happens when we put down the phone? People around us feel appreciated & we get to soak in what’s going on around us.

Anyone else given yourself a little social media detox lately? For how long?

Today I’m feeling weak & frustrated that I can’t just power through limitations from past injuries.
.
2 choices. Wallow in self pity or do something about it.
.
EVERY SETBACK sent your way is the opportunity for an even bigger comeback if you want it. Stop wasting time pondering regrets, mistakes & what you shoulda done different - and focus on what you can actually do now to change things.

Head down. Let’s go. :)
