So yesterday we flew a helicopter to a remote glacier and ice climbed up it and it was without a doubt one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, physically yes but mainly mentally. I have a really bad fear of heights when i don’t feel secure - like i can do airplanes and roller coasters just fine bc im strapped and safe. But like being on cliffs or looking over balcony’s, etc - anything where there’s a chance i can fall, I’m terrified of and my anxiety gets just about unbearable. We had a harness but i couldn’t help how anxious i still got. I knew I’d get freaked out but i reacted worse than i thought and almost had a panic attack several times LOOOL but what I’m so proud of is my body went into full on adrenaline and badass mode. I zipped up the ice cliff we climbed up SO fast without a struggle, didn’t fall once and completely crushed it. I could feel how strong my body was and could feel my muscles just taking over and doing their thing like it was just another day at the gym. Not sure where I’m going with this but I’m just SO proud of myself and my body bc i completely pushed myself to the limits today and I’ve always been worried in those situations that i would just freeze and not be able to move but today i learned that in tough situations my body reacts in a positive way and pushes through 😎 thanks @eltoncastee for testing my limits haha i love to challenge myself and that was one of the biggest ever for me
