  • When I busted out my Fisher-Price doctor kit it was over. You couldn't tell me NOTHING. I thought I was legit curing the great scourge caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. All 3 types; bubonic, septicemic & pneumonic. That's The Black Death for you non-doctor motherfuckers.
My mom tried telling me my Lipton soup & grilled cheese was ready, I told her, "I'm with a patient now. Hold my calls." My poor, poor mom. Imagine dealing with idealistic, fuck out my face, 5-year-old Rach. I became Dr. Rach right around the time @drdre did. Real O.G.s.

Anyhow, I have to wrap this post up, a doctor's work is never done. ------------------------------------------------------------------ #RealRachelWoods #Rachel #DrRach #TheBubonicPlague #YersiniaPestis #TheBlackDeath #NonDoctorMotherfuckers #FisherPriceDoctorKit #FisherPrice #80sToys #HoldMyCalls #ImWithAPatient

  • Thank you so much everyone who wrote me & for your well wishes for Fred & me. This is proof focused energy is magic, that's what prayer is.
I thought Fred was irreparably ill, all last night I had him on my lap & cleaned up his pee and carried him outside as he was ataxic & could hardly walk. When I made the vet appointment he was very sick. All through the night I expected he would die on my lap. It was hellish, as I went through this when he had a stroke a bit over a year ago.

Within 24 hours he started eating, (voraciously may I add) & his walking slowly improved.

This is what Fred had & what happened. "Canine idiopathic vestibular disease, which is also sometimes called 'old dog disease' or 'old rolling dog syndrome,' can be very scary for pet parents. To the untrained eye, the symptoms may mimic serious, life threatening conditions such as stroke or a brain tumor.

The good news is that this condition, which is described by veterinarians as fairly common, typically disappears in a matter of days.
VCA Animal Hospitals define vestibular disease as a sudden, non-progressive disturbance of balance." "The symptoms are acute, or immediate,” said Jones. “The symptoms will not be a slow progression but happen all of a sudden. There really aren’t any symptoms that can be a sign this is coming on.” He is improving by the hour, on medication for vertigo, which is basically what vestibular disease is, an antibiotic in case an inner-ear infection is the cause & blood pressure medication.

Thank you so, so much for all the love, care & concern.
