  • Spain, 2001. I had been training heavy and hard since 1999. 
I know the bra looks photoshopped onto the picture but I can guarantee it's an illusion.
Let me reassure you why: there's no way I'd ever pose topless. My titties were my enemies who'd refuse to shape up regardless of how much training I hit them with.

People ask why I named my brand 'Fighterdiet'. Over the years the name has become more and more suitable for my life, for the program for the results. I thought I chose it based on the mindset required to be successful at staying lean for life: discipline, dedication, perseverance, but there's more to it.

In 2002 I was working out in Stockholm. The gym was big and empty. All the sudden a man came out of nowhere and started to be aggressive with me. He forced me into a corner trying to nail me down. I panicked but didn't freeze. Little did he know I was trained in classical singing since childhood and trust me I COULD SCREAM, like police sirens. He wasn't prepared for that, he got off me and jumped out the window. 
The police came a few hours later. They never caught the dude. 
That's when I decided to learn Krav Maga. I went through tolerance training, sparring with instructors double my size to make me comfortable with being uncomfortable. Go for the soft spots, grab him by the balls not by the pussy, scratch the eyes out, be aware of your surroundings. All that good stuff. 
Nowadays people I meet often laugh at me for being ultra alert ready to counter if a hand comes my way, an unexpected approach from the back, because I'm ready to counter attack on autopilot. 
Self defense should be part of mandatory education, don't you think?

  • I wasn't born coming out of the womb with dumbbells in my hands, I was actually sleeping and didn't wake up until they hosed me down. I didn't like showers for years after that.

I started when I was 8, inspired by my mom's obese boyfriend. I saw him sleeping on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn on his belly and coca-cola beside the couch and I instantly drew the link between junk and being fat. So I decided it was time to exercise.

It was my bigger sister who introduced me to pull-ups, sit-ups and push-ups. She didn't do them, she ordered ME to to do them. That was my daily routine.

Fast forward to 12 years old, I had achieved a six-pack of abs. And a thigh gap a mile wide since I was not eating, I thought NOT eating was how I built muscles. In a way I was right, I understood I had to be LEAN to see them. It's "easy" to have abs when you're skin and bones and train 500 sit-ups a day every day after school in my room, so I thought I was on the right track.

In high school I failed PE even though I aced in gymnastics and sprints. How come? Wasn't I athletic? Yeah, but I refused to shower with the other girls and I skipped all swimming classes except the one time we had the fully dressed swimming course. The reason was I was embarrassed of my body. I hit puberty by 9 when I got my period, I was an early bloomer. I'd rather DIE than be in a swimsuit in my class.

  • When I met Pavel in 2001 him and I became best friends from the first phone call. Pavel was a successful director of photography and music video director in Sweden, I was working while trying to figure out how to go to California. 
All Pavel and I liked to do was to work. I was in love, I don't know what Pavel was, I think he just knew I was the ticket to go to America, and, he was mine.
We were a power team, he shot my photos, I wrote to motivate.

In 2006 we finally made it to America. The swedes kept asking every 3 months when are you coming back. Because that's how the journey here ends for most: when the money is gone, time to head home. HELL NO WE WERE GOING BACK, WE ARE TOO STUBBORN AND TOO PROUD to accept defeat. 
I started to get angry and I was a horrible person to be around. I used Pavel as a punching bag, he got slapped around by my sharp tongue every day. I didn't know why I was so angry. Until... I realized we didn't have all it takes to be a couple in love. 
One day I came home, and I was terrified. I had to tell Pavel I need to follow my heart. Here we were, on the opposite side of the world, moved away from family and friends, and I decide to leave.

7. Straight shoot your life priorities. Do not downplay your passions and primary ambitions in life. A partner who doesn't understand this will take it as neglect and lack of respect.
8. DATE a SLACKER, BECOME A SLACKER. Nothing wrong with that if you are cool with being mediocre, but You DO BECOME what you choose to hang out with.
9. Never recycle the past. There's a reason your exes are not in your life. Don't bring them back. When it doesn't work out, don't try again.
10. Remember, when you're horny you don't think straight, so never leave your house unmasturbated, unfed and unrested. You're in a MUCH better place mentally with this foundation work of happiness. That's what my dad always said: Happy, Horny and Grateful is the way to be.

If you didn’t get hungry and ate up you’d die at some point. 
It’s important to decipher what your “hunger” truly indicates because if you don’t you’ll sabotage yourself and regain the same pounds of flab over and over and over again. 
Consider hunger a sign you’re on the right track. And then use a diet that prevents hunger as much as possible. That’s Fighterdiet in a nutshell.

  • I remember when I was 17 and the guy I was dating at the time, a chain smoking Micky D addicted non exercising guy. One day as I was going from my Black Jack Shift 9 pm-5 am Thursdays through Saturdays straight to the gym, he asked 'when are you going to stop working out? Nobody likes a chick who looks like a man'. In my mind I thought "maybe you should come with me so you can last longer than a minute'. But I didn't say that, instead I said 'bye' and that was the end.

Being a female you get offers thrown at you at all times. You don't have to look like a million bucks: there's always some desperate dude out there who'll see you as a GODDESS. 
Women complain they don't receive respect from men. Respect isn't given, it's earned. If you have a social media account or an email you WILL get dick shots, there's a reason why I have a whole collection, usually comparison shots of not most muscular but who is as tall as a Heineken Bottle when fully flexed, kidding ok, kinda.  Anyway, my tips for men who want a fit woman as their lady:
1. BE FIT yourself. Like attracts like more here than opposites do.
2. If you're WEAK minded you'll HATE to be with a strong woman. She'll crush your ego day after day, so work on your confidence. If she's with you there must be a good reason UNLESS you PAY everything and oh if that's the case you don't have a girlfriend you have an escort.
3. BE FAITHFUL. BE LOYAL. Whatever deal or pact you make with her, STAY respectful.

I used to get annoyed by admirers until I changed my outlook. Now I just say thank you. Plus, I know how to say NO and when the annoying 'why?' arrives I just tell the truth. That's my tip to you. BE HONEST and even though you feel that you might hurt someone, blunt HONESTY is better than pretty LIES.

You need to REMEMBER WHY you WANTED THIS.

  • I never considered myself being talented for building muscle. 
I didn’t ponder about whether or not my body was suited for competition. 
Two years in into training the gym people started to notice my gains and offered me anabolic steroids so I could win the Swedish championships in the 115 lbs division. 
I turned it down, I knew I didn’t need it for my goal. I wasn’t interested in achieving something I wouldn’t be able to maintain .

When I visited the US for the first time in 2003 I went to Vegas to watch the Bodybuilding Nationals. I was disgusted by what I saw and heard. 
That moment was when I decided it’s time to become a fitness figure professionals instead of a bodybuilder. 
Same training same diet same stuff just even more  boring to strut around in high heels with a bikini and do the rear pussy pose rather than most muscular. 
I competed 2002-2007 in bodybuilding and fitness figure. 
I quit because it served no purpose for me. I didn’t need it to stay in shape, what I loved about prepping was the dieting and training. 
I didn’t compete to have something to work towards. 
Every time you ask me why don’t I go compete again I just laugh. Why would I go back to do something I already did, that would only serve my ego if anything. 
What I like about my younger me is the “because” attitude. 
It wasn’t “do I have what it takes?”, it was “I have what it takes”. If you are to learn something from following me let it be that confidence. You will only achieve what your mind can perceive, so block out all doubts and just decide this is what you want and you’re gonna get it.

    That moment was when I decided it’s time to become a fitness figure professionals instead of a bodybuilder.
    Same training same diet same stuff just even more boring to strut around in high heels with a bikini and do the rear pussy pose rather than most muscular.
    I competed 2002-2007 in bodybuilding and fitness figure.
    I quit because it served no purpose for me. I didn’t need it to stay in shape, what I loved about prepping was the dieting and training.
    I didn’t compete to have something to work towards.
    Every time you ask me why don’t I go compete again I just laugh. Why would I go back to do something I already did, that would only serve my ego if anything.
    What I like about my younger me is the “because” attitude.
    It wasn’t “do I have what it takes?”, it was “I have what it takes”. If you are to learn something from following me let it be that confidence. You will only achieve what your mind can perceive, so block out all doubts and just decide this is what you want and you’re gonna get it.

  • Exercise is overrated in terms of body weight control but since it’s  pretty much one of only two things we can manipulate to change body composition it makes no sense to go hit abs only and call it a workout.

That’s what I like about fitness. It’s an ever ending evolution in personal growth and outlook. 
This summer I’m offering BOTH to make sure you end up with no reason to say “oh it won’t work for me”. You know why I host these challenges? Accountability. I know what happens when I don’t  hawk over you....and you know too....or you wouldn’t need me.

  • "Chase your dreams". What does that mean to me?

It meant spending my whole salary on a one hour meeting in Chicago.
I flew from Stockholm to Chicago for a chance to get sponsored.

It meant pitching and then producing an advertising campaign that ended up on Time Square, NYC on my own dime. 
It meant cutting off all emotional bonds and move to California to live in a hole in the wall, stealing toilet paper from Golds Gym.

It meant exceeding my budget if I bought a pack of Trident bubble gum.

It meant quitting my job, pack my bags, rent out the apartment, and literally have to turn around on the way to the airport to go back home when the sponsor pulled out... And wait another year to save up enough cash to take a leap of faith and just GO.

It meant eating cabbage and pink salmon and mustard every day for every meal for years. It was what I found at 99 cent store.

It meant scooping up protein powder from the ground at the gym because every scoop was valued as gold to me. 
It meant hitting the freeway with dysfunctional brakes and just hope it works out because work started 4 am. 
It meant analyzing when the 'green light wave' hits on the I-10 going east so I could go from Venice to Hollywood in 14 minutes. This wasn't about speeding, it was about how NOT to hit the brakes so I could save gas so I had enough gas to make it back home. 
It meant working out without shoes because I couldn't afford new whole ones for a while.

This is what I mean by I chase my dreams. There's no sitting around waiting for stuff to happen. There's no room for 'can't'. If there's a will there's a way. All it takes is... your heart.
