  • "Cheung Chau is an island 10 kilometers southwest of Hong Kong Island. The aerial angle captures contrasts of the dense houses, beautiful beaches and many colorful fishing boats lining the pier. It’s a wonderful escape from the often hectic and busy city life. I live in Hong Kong, so I like coming here for the day, seeing the sky open up with no high-rises in sight. It’s a good place to chill out, experience local restaurants and craftsmanship."

  • We love traveling because we love this wonderful world. But if we don’t travel with intention and care, we may spoil the very earth we want to roam, endangering the food we eat and water we drink. As traveling becomes easier than ever before, it becomes a commodity, not a freedom to enjoy without consequence — the same is true of our water. Quick access to bottled water is choking our oceans and making clean water scarce. It’s time to change that.

Head to the link in our bio to learn how @livelarq is planning to lead the way towards a cleaner future through their innovative self-cleaning water bottle and how we can help create a cleaner world through caring about our water. Already doing your part? Let us know how you're making a difference. 📷@tiffpenguin #passionpassport #DrinkBrilliantly

  • "I wasn’t planning to visit Lucknow, but I trust fellow travelers and their recommendations. After visiting the much more popular Varanasi, Lucknow was a huge relief. It has a very different vibe from the other cities we traveled to in India — not as chaotic and overstimulating to the senses. The streets are wider. The gates tower over and draw your eyes up. The stone beneath your feet glows pink, and the buildings are painted in pastels. There's a lightness here, both in the city and with the people who greeted us with smiles. As we were heading into the Chota Imabara, I was standing here trying to fashion a headscarf when a woman sympathetically came over to help me and proceeded to warmly welcome us to her city. I snapped this photo right after, thinking how chaos can be so effortlessly beautiful."

  • "During our three-day stay in Kuala Lumpur, @beixin and I were determined to visit the beautiful Wilayah Mosque — a stunning blend of Ottoman and Malay architectural styles (and heavily influenced by Istanbul's Blue Mosque). We were mesmerised by the grandeur of this place of worship, but more importantly we were amazed by its hospitality. We met the kindest people and were deeply humbled that they were willing to host us in a space so personal and private to them."

  • "I had just gone up to the top of the Burj Khalifa and was still in disbelief at the sheer size of the building. When I came down to this location, there were crowds of people surrounding me, all trying to take a photo of the famous landmark. I was patiently waiting for the right composition when this boat gracefully entered the frame. It seemed almost too perfect."

  • "I took this photo when I was solo backpacking across Iran in December of 2018, originally planning on only visiting Shiraz and Yazd. But while I was there, so many people told me I had to visit Esfahan, so with no plan, I hopped on a night bus. I'm glad I did because on my first day there I met an amazing family who took me all around the city to see the sights. The Persian architecture, characterised by intricate ceilings and incredibly detailed patterns left me in disbelief."

  • “There are sights and scenes in Poland’s Lower Silesia to suit every kind of traveler. The day before heading to the modern and artistic city of Wrocław, we hiked to get panoramic views from a Prussian mountain fortress and ventured hundreds of feet below the earth to see an underground waterfall. We then woke at dawn to make the drive from the quaint countryside and catch Wrocław in the morning light that seemed to put the city in a playful mood even as people rushed to work. It amazed me how positivity practically radiated from these old streets, after enduring so much turmoil and devastation in the World Wars. This cathedral, in particular, consecrated in 1272, stood there like it had been expecting me, waiting with a warm welcome.” Have you ever experienced the beauty that is Lower Silesia? • "I don’t think I’ve been anywhere quite as surreal as southern Kenya. I was staying in a nearby Masai Mara Village, and I would spend each morning wandering the plains in search of wildlife. On one road I went down, I noticed these two giraffes walking together. It was almost too perfect, with soft light and Mt. Kilimanjaro towering behind them. I probably spent a solid 40 minutes just watching these two giraffes do giraffe stuff — feeling a sense of peace and tranquility that you don't find many other places. In that moment, it felt like all my problems just went away. We sure do live on an awesome planet."

  • "Visiting the Austrian National Library had been a dream of mine for ages, and on our second day in Vienna, I got to make that dream come true. Stepping into the Baroque hall I was immediately stunned by its beauty and admittedly let out a gasp (along with some other visitors). The murals climb to the ceilings and at times make the hall feel more like a cathedral than a library. Surrounded by 2.5 million books, leaving wasn't easy; I could have happily spent hours within those walls."
