  • so i wanted to address something that so many of us struggle with: overthinking. it seems as if almost all of us continuously ponder over everything going on in our lives. we replay scenarios in our heads, trying to come up with ways we could’ve made them go better. we over-analyze other people’s words and try to search for hints and hidden meanings. we constantly remind ourselves of every single task we have yet to complete, despite the work we’ve already put in. we try to predict our future so that nothing comes as a surprise and throws us off track. but all of this thinking is EXHAUSTING.

i’m probably one of the worst overthinkers you’ll ever meet. but there are several things i remind myself on the daily that help to put my mind at ease:
•

you have no control over the actions and reactions of others.
•

the past is the past and you cannot change it. you can only do better next time.
•

when people are genuine, their actions match their words. if a person says one thing and does another, then you know how that person truly feels.
•

worrying about everything you have to do isn’t gonna help you accomplish anything. just get to work.
•

God has a plan and you’re going to end up wherever you’re supposed to be. 🦋

But on a real note, I’ve got 4 finals coming up and a big project due and then I’m DONE with the semester (hallelujah praise the lerd). On the gym side, I’ve been super motivated and lifting pretty heaving. I’ve been really enjoying my time in the gym! I go through highs and lows throughout the year and sometimes it’s really tough to find motivation to get into the gym much less enjoy being there. Going through the lows make me super grateful when I’m in the high, just like anything in life. Sometimes, you just have to remind yourself why you started and how far you’ve come!

What gets you motivated??

Coach yakin ramai disini yang ada role model masing2. Ada yang nak figure badan macam miss world, Erra Fazira, model Victoria Secret etc ... Macam coach sendiri, coach nk jadi macam artis K-pop ni. Nama dia Hwasa. Suara sedap, pandai nyanyi , funny, she love herself and she have  great body (for me). Wahhh, tengah membayangkan diri ni mcm Hwasa. 
Eh, tak salah untuk berimpian dan bermimpi. Bermimpi itu percuma

Dari mimpi tu la sebenarnya kita boleh MAKE IT HAPPEN. kita visualizekan diri kita sama macam role model kita ni. Figure, career, character and so on. Kita bayangkan diri kita ni mcm mereka atau lebih hebat dari mereka and what we can get from that imagination.

처음에 고관절 통증으로 오셔서 계단도 잘 못다니셨던게 얼마전 같은데, 이제 센터에 못다루는 도구가 없고 리프팅과 코디네이션까지도 여느 대학생들보다 좋다. 
남편분은 올초부터 운동 오시는데  건강검진에서 키가 커지셨다고 한다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 60대 성장트레이닝?.

주말 다녀가신 @leetaft 선생님도 항상 강조하시듯 rotation,deceleration power 와그리고 충분한 agility challenge 가 어른들에게도 제공 될 때 일상생활에서의 움직임 효율성과, 다가오는 겨울 사소하지만 심각해질 수 있는 부상으로부터 안전할 수 있을거라 생각한다.

  • Took the last 5 days off from the gym just cause of life 🤷‍♂️. Today's upper body sesh felt amazing though thanks to fully recovering and hungry to get back to the weights. All sets were suppose to be heavy sets for me today but everything felt pretty easy and smooth. This was my last set of 5 @ 195lb which is pretty good for me since bench is my weakest lift. That last rep was a baby grinder but actually felt I could of pumped out a few more (only if I had a spot 😔). Love unexpected strength gains and goes to show the power of recovery.
