  • Morning at the beach ⛵️ 🍦 ☀️ The last time we visited this beautiful beach it was freezing, I was 12 weeks pregnant with Lola munching on salted pringles to battle away the nausea!
3 years later, the sun is shining... I’m trying to embrace the sun, sea and sand hazards but L&K so happy, as is @harryjudd with the water soaker! Kit was fascinated by the waves, ate sand and then spent most the morning crawling around saying meow, whilst Lola stripped off and ran straight for the sea... 🌊

  • #Ad Getting all the jobs done before we escape to Norfolk for the week. I have now learnt to get ahead of the game and make sure we have a few essentials stocked up for when we get back home and because Arla Cravendale is finely filtered for purity, unopened it lasts for 3 weeks and is also 100% pure, fresh milk with nothing added 🙌 So after a long car journey not only do the kids need some food but Harry and I love a cup of tea before battling the chaos of unpacking the car and getting the children to bed! #ComeHomeToACuppa #ArlaCravendale @arladairyuk

  • I’m so happy to announce that I will be releasing Mindfulness for Mums in January. It includes short, simple exercises for you and your children to help find the calm in the chaos of parenthood, without feeling like it’s another job to add to the to do list!

Nobody can prepare you for what becoming a mum really feels like and the moment this tiny person arrives in your world, nothing feels the same again.

Life as a mum is full of challenges which can at times feel overwhelming. We constantly question if we’re doing a good enough job, our mind is spinning with the mental load and the daily noise of demands and expectations often means that our own wellbeing is overlooked.

You often hear the words “Enjoy it, it goes so fast” but I’m thinking how when some days I’m finding this really hard?

I started to ask myself what I’m looking for to help me slow down and feel calmer. What other choices do I have to manage toddler meltdowns that don’t end up with me shouting and then spending the rest of the day feeling like I’ve failed. Will I stop feeling guilty for having time for myself. How do I talk kindly not only to Harry and the children but also to myself?

As a mum, I find mindfulness helps return me to a place of stillness in a busy day and gives me the space to centre my thoughts. I also enjoy spending time practicing mindfulness with Lola and Kit, as it is helping to change the way we communicate with one another and it gives me a different option in how to respond. It is a welcome distraction and rewarding to watch. I also want to give Lola and Kit the tools to support their emotional wellbeing.

Motherhood is the greatest thing and the toughest thing all at once. I’m looking forward to sharing Mindfulness for Mums with you so that we can support each other through the challenging, exhausting and happy days! (Link to preorder is in my bio and full video is on IGTV)

  • Lunchtime entertainment! 🎻 Music calms us all, especially on the longer rainy days when daddy’s working and mummy had a late night (and would love to be able to sit and watch Wimbledon this afternoon!) #thegreatestshowman #musicandmindfulness

  • So today my relationship with fertility continues and it goes without saying with huge gratitude to be a mum to Lola & Kit. Fertile health still has its frustrations however small in comparison to the desperation to start our family. I want to share this because I feel women’s fertile health should be talked about whatever the circumstances without shame or embarrassment and also to be taken seriously as it plays such a crucial role in our overall wellbeing. Since having Kit I’ve only had two periods the last being December 2017, in hindsight this makes me feel even more unbelievably lucky that we conceived Kit so soon after Lola 🙏 I just don’t know where my periods go, it feels like my body has never learnt what to do without the help of hormonal treatment. Having spent many years on the pill followed by lots of fertility medications I now feel reluctant to take anything as i want my body to be left alone. However, it is obviously important to check everything is safe and not having any periods (amenorrhea) means keeping on top of smears which is essential for all of us ⭐️ Also to check bone density due to low estrogen levels caused by hormonal imbalance. I have also been back for a scan to check the lining of my womb and to check in with my friends the ovaries all of which seem to be chilling out happily on holiday completely dormant.
So although in comparison to other fertility struggles we have faced this still has its frustrations and worry for my fertile health along with a strange feeling of not having my monthly cycle and the effect that has physically and emotionally, often feeling erratic hormonally! Does anyone else have any advice about amenorrhea. I am trying every which way to get my periods going again without medication, ironic having spent so long not wanting them to start!

  • A pleasure to be hosting the vox pop @tommys_thebabycharity awards today. Having worked with Tommy’s over the years it is inspirational to see the developments that are continuing to be made to help improve research, awareness and support. Being in a room filled with such bravery and heartache makes you appreciate the difference Tommy’s is making and the importance of their campaign #togetherforchange to start the conversation around baby loss 💗

  • Lovely time at Lola’s sports day today... And then this happened. Only my husband would take the dads race so seriously, mortified 🤦‍♀️

  • When did you suddenly grow Kit? I’ve walked up these steps and taken a deep breath with this Buddha every day since Kit was born. I love this corner of our home, it’s my mini sanctuary and a reminder to pause, breath and slow down for a moment... very much needed with two little busy people! ⭐️ #mindfulmoments #mindfulness #takeapause #slowdown #cornerofmyhome
