  • Someone once told me that my value sinks as soon as I post pictures like this? But why?
Why can’t I show that I feel comfortable in my body? ///
Step Away from the Mean Girls…
…and say bye-bye to feeling bad about your looks.
Are you ready to stop colluding with a culture that makes so many of us feel physically inadequate? Say goodbye to your inner critic, and take this pledge to be kinder to yourself and others.
This is a call to arms. A call to be gentle, to be forgiving, to be generous with yourself. The next time you look into the mirror, try to let go of the story line that says you're too fat or too sallow, too ashy or too old, your eyes are too small or your nose too big; just look into the mirror and see your face. When the criticism drops away, what you will see then is just you, without judgment, and that is the first step toward transforming your experience of the world. ||| Pic by @_leephotography πŸ–€

  • I actually don’t like this new year, new me bullshit thingy but from now on, I won’t be scared anymore, scared of walking towards, or walking away from something.
This year I finally fell in love with myself, starting to don’t give a fuck what people think of me.
The last year changed me, but in a positive way. I am still who I always was, but better. I want to risk more, do more things that feel good, that help me become more myself.
It has challenged me to come out of my comfort zone in so many ways.
It still has left some scars, healing ones, and ones that are going to ache for a long time.
But hurt won’t change me. I will always feel, love, and do things with a soft heart. I will resist the urge to hide inside a wall, protecting me from everything.
I hope everyone is doing good, finding their way through life and it’s difficulties.
Happy new Year everyone πŸ–€ |||

  • Quiet people always know more than they seem. Although very normal, their inner world is by default fronted mysterious and therefore assumed weird. Never underestimate the social awareness and sense of reality in a quiet person; they are some of the most observant, absorbent persons of all.

  • The pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Parmenides taught that the only things that are real are things which never change... and the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Heraclitus taught that everything changes. If you superimpose their two views, you get this result: Nothing is real.
