  • Had the pleasure of meeting Reg Harrison, the last surviving member of the great Derby FA Cup winning team of β€˜46.
Reg was presented with the Freedom of the City for his outstanding contribution to Derby throughout his life. A true inspiration to everyone of us at the club πŸ™Œ.

  • I’m a big supporter of the tireless work that @clicsargent do for kids with cancer. In the lead up to World Cancer Day on 4 February, they are raising awareness of when cancer comes back. Please watch Sara’s film...
・・・
We know cancer costs. But for some young people and their families, it costs more than once. Like for those who get diagnosed with cancer for a second time. β €
β €
Sara was 12 when she first found out she had a brain tumour. She had surgery and travelled to Florida for Proton Beam Therapy. But just as she was about to take her A-levels aged 17 she found out the cancer had come back.β €
β €
CLIC Sargent was there for Sara and her family both times. She passed her A-levels and is now studying medicine at university. Sara hopes that one day she can help other children with cancer.β €

In the lead up to World Cancer Day on 4 February, CLIC Sargent is raising awareness of when cancer comes back, and how young cancer patients and their families who’ve dealt with this have to face the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis and treatment – again.β €
β €
You can help take some of that burden away by banding together with CLIC Sargent for World Cancer Day. Wear our Bands Against Cancer to show your support. Visit the link in our bio to get yours now.β €

  • Congratulations @didierdrogba on what has been an absolutely outstanding career. It was a privilege and honour to play alongside you. Your work ethic and desire to improve every single day inspired me and all of us more than you would know. Those rainy days were we stayed behind and had awkward balls fired into us to touch and finish are some of my best memories! You were the man that always delivered on the big stage and all of us at @chelseafc should give a HUGE thank you to you for always stepping up when it mattered. That’s what made you the πŸ‘‘. More than that though Dids you are a giant of a man. Strong, loyal, unselfish, positive, humble... I could go on. Thank you Didi for all that you did for me and good luck for whatever you choose to do now, it will be a success because that’s how you are. Lastly, special thanks for getting your head on that in Munich because I was head down, eyes shut behind you πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ. πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ‘‘ πŸ‘‘ πŸ‘‘

  • It was a real honour to receive the @legendsoffootballuk award last night. Thank you for such a fantastic night and the very kind words. To be amongst the great names of past winners means so much.
But more importantly, to raise so much money on the night for @nordoffrobbins and highlight the life-changing work this remarkable charity do is very important to me. I know what a huge difference the funds raised will make.

  • Congratulations on an incredible career @johnterry.26. It was an honour to walk alongside you at @chelseafc and see close up the sheer will and desire to be the best and also encourage the best from all around you. Truly inspirational. On top of that, to have the qualities that meant you stayed at the very top of world football consistently throughout your time. You were never content, always driving yourself and others onto continued success at the very top. What a player, what a leader, what a career. A true GREAT. Wishing you the very best in the next chapter, whatever you do you will be a huge success. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
