  • ""By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."" Tomorrow is Sunday and often a day of rest for us all, and as much as agree to a certain extent, Sundays should be used to prepare for the week ahead. Here are a few tips and tricks to ready yourself for the week ahead:

1.Cook up a storm (not literally) - utilise Sunday as your chance to prepare food for the week, cook up your preferred protein source, carbs and veggies for at least four days. If you get bored one day, buy lunch at work or go out for lunch with your friends!

2. Pack your gym kit - no excuses come Monday morning or evening when it's time to hit the gym. Prepare everything you would usually wear and need such as your wash kit and smash out your session.

  • FACT: I never used to drink enough water … like ever. It was literally a joke among all my friends that I never had to pee. Lol why this was the case I am unsure, but I have turned things around in a big way!

A lot has contributed to me drinking more water over time … obviously a general awareness of its importance, but I have to say my health issues (especially over the last year - colitis, my skin, etc.) have changed the way I look at all the little, easy-to-make changes that can improve my health. Drinking enough water throughout the day is a no-brainer for me now, but I’ve also become more knowledgable + picky about the water that I’m drinking … anyone else?

When I’m at home, I use my @DafiUSA filtered, alkaline cartridge water pitcher, and when I’m out & about it’s this filtered bottle - perfect for when I’m on-the-go during the day or in a workout class. The filter is built in to the bottle, exchangeable & uses activated carbon from coconut shells. It’s also BPA free and obviously so much better for the environment than buying single use bottles (saves approx. 58 lbs of plastic per bottle annually!). We also love that it’s less than $15! Who else is picky about their water? Tell me your thoughts! xx #sssssweats
