Converting to veganism has been such an amazing experience. Simply put I’m happy with where I’m at with my health and with fitness.

I get a lot of subtle hate and negativity for switching to veganism, even from people close to me.

People saying I got smaller or I’m going to lose all of my muscle or not be the same athlete, etc.
-
The one thing that I’ve always held close to me is my ability to adapt through anything. That has applied here as well.

Going vegan doesn’t mean you’re going to lose your muscle because in my book I’ve done it right, with some mistakes here and there taken as a learning curve due to a new diet. I made the switch because I wanted to challenge myself and I also wanted to stop worrying so much about food and stop intensely critiquing myself for binging. I wanted a better relationship with food and myself.

For the people in my DMs and the ones that ask me in person. Read what I wrote up there. I’m happy with where I’m at. I’ve invested about 6 years of time into my craft. Countless hours in the gym and in educating myself. I generally like to stay in my own lane but when others don’t do the same it causes me to remember that people will always criticize and judge what they don’t understand. It’s the same reason why people think I’m not natural or accuse me of taking steroids.

The difference between you and I (humbly stating this) is that you never pushed yourself to the point of vomiting through a set. You’ve never gotten 0 hours of sleep and still trained. You’ve never trained until your legs are so full of blood that you can barely move them. You’ve never been 5% body fat with migraines so bad you cant think straight. This isn’t to be combatted by the training community saying: “You don’t need to feel like that after a workout because it isn’t optimal” -  this is to let people know that you don’t know who you are or what you are until you’re pushed to your limits. So ask yourselves have you pushed yourself lately? In reference to your health and wellness. In reference to you career. In reference to your life. It’s easy to place judgement when you don’t understand what it takes. 👁
