  • 9/50. The kids been home for nearly a month for winter break. She heads back earlier this week. What a month it's been. Our relationship has gone from mother daughter to something quite unexpected and beautiful. Last few weeks have been some of my most favorite memories with her. I've let myself relax on the parenting and just have fun with her as a person. We've had so many good adventures and I look forward to many more. When she first got back I had to remember that she is on her own and for the most part now an adult starting her own life and doing her own thing. Sometimes this meant we clashed in the beginning because I kept trying to Mom her. I finally realized that I needed to let her do her thing her way and me do me and we sort of met in the middle. What' a good way to remove obstacles. I'm so proud of both of us.

  • She wanted the golden statue- she wanted the (globe) world. She got it. And she was pleased. She wanted everyone to know that her baby had to be sacrificed to that idol, the World. She could not contain herself. She was beaming. She had to tell the world that her false god had delivered on her sacrifice of blood, the blood of her child. She did not weep, she was not remorseful or regretful, she was full of glee. She was full of pride. She had made it to the place. The place of wealth and status. Molech-Abortion had delivered. #abortionismurder #Christianity #faith #truth #worldview #feminismiscancer #children #family #babies #marriage

  • J. Warner Wallace (second pic), a nationally recognized homicide detective in the United States of America, was once an aggressive atheist and skeptic regarding Christianity. He decided to apply the criteria/investigative techniques he used to solve homicide cases, specifically cold cases, to determine if the evidence for the Bible, God and Jesus Christ’s life/death/resurrection was reliable.
In examining the Gospel witness accounts of the life of Jesus and His claim to being the Messiah, J. Warner Wallace applied 5 standard criteria:
▪️Were the witness accounts written early enough after the events to be considered reliable?
▪️ Could they be corroborated or verified?
▪️Is there internal/external evidence?
▪️Were the Gospel witness accounts changed or altered?
▪️Was there a bias?
After examining all the evidence for Christianity, James Warner Wallace came to the undeniable conclusion that the Gospel accounts were indeed reliable. Based on the evidence, Jesus came to earth as the Son of God, performed miracles, died a death by crucifixion, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven in view of his disciples. At age 35, James became a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ. He has a website called Cold Case Christianity, has authored several books and produces podcasts. He can also be found on YouTube and social media. Have you ever wondered why you are here, if there is a God, and which world view is true? Examine the evidence and decide for yourself. If the Gospel accounts are true, mankind is separated from God because of sin and has only two options: repent and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord with heaven as the destination after death, or be separated forever from the God that was rejected. You cannot pick and choose parts of the Gospels you want to believe. Jesus talked of His love for every individual and heaven, but urged people to repent of their sin lest they perish in a place He described in detail called hell. #gospel #apologetics #atheism #evidenceforchristianity #worldview #lifeordeath #jesuschristislord #bibletruth #god #whoisjesus #hell #heaven #coldcasechristianity #skeptic #truthseeker #truthseekers

  • Hipstoricdc Hike - Revolutionary War Hero Commodore Joshua Barney’s flotilla and The Battle of St. Leonard Creek during the War of 1812
-Historic Jefferson Patterson Park- Battle of St. Leonard Creek
-Benedict, Maryland- British landing site

The Chesapeake Bay Flotilla was a motley collection of barges and gunboats that the United States assembled under the command of Joshua Barney, an 1812 privateer captain, to stall British attacks in the Chesapeake Bay which came to be known as the "Chesapeake Campaign" during the War of 1812.
On June 1, 1814, Barney's flotilla, led by Scorpion, were coming down Chesapeake Bay when it encountered the 12-gun schooner HMS St Lawrence (the former Baltimore privateer Atlas), and boats from the 74-gun Third Rates HMS Dragon and HMS Albion near St. Jerome Creek. The flotilla pursued St Lawrence and the boats until they reached the protection of the two 74s. The American flotilla then retreated into the Patuxent River, which the British quickly blockaded. The British outnumbered Barney by 7:1, forcing the flotilla on June 7 to retreat into St. Leonard's Creek. Two British frigates, the 38-gun Loire and the 32-gun Narcissus, plus the 18-gun sloop-of-war HMS Jasseur, blockaded the mouth of the creek. The creek was too shallow for the British warships to enter; the flotilla outgunned, and hence was able to fend off, the boats from the British ships.
Battles continued through June 10. The British, frustrated by their inability to flush Barney out of his safe retreat, instituted a "campaign of terror," laying waste to "town and farm alike" and plundering and burning Calverton, Huntingtown, Prince Frederick, Benedict and Lower Marlboro. Among the British units that participated in the campaign were a battalion of Royal Marines, and the Corps of Colonial Marines, a unit that the British had recruited from among former American slaves.

  • My life is a product of Grace. Because I believe in jesus' sacrifice, I'm saved and forever kept from falling. John 10:28, Jude 1:24

Listen, this is not exclusive to me. It's thesame for every single person who believes that Jesus is God and that his death and resurrection paid the debt to save and justify all who believe. 1 John 2:2.

  • Viele von euch wollten mehr über Bali erfahren.
Sehr gern! Wir erzählen viel und gerne über diese Insel. Wahrscheinlich schon so viel dass wir unseren Familien und Freuden auf die Nerven gehen.

Was macht Bali aus?

  • What we are currently experiencing is a moral revolution, in which out of our mechanistic, competitive, reductionist, dualistic paradigm, emerges a relational, systematic, cooperative, complex, and non-dualistic paradigm. Research shows, that this is the kind of paradigm we need in order to tackle our current challenges. It’s not a new paradigm, as it is and for long has been present in many cultures, that are mostly suppressed and forgotten.
Thomas Björman here gives a presentation about how we are currently moving into this emerging paradigm.

  • How can you support your child's Need to Know?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Open discussions with your children to explore the notions that everything and everyone is your teacher. “What did you learn about yourself today?” conversations at the dinner table are a wonderful ritual. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Encourage discussions on religious diversity and the wonderful variety and offerings that come from someone else’s perspective.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Inspire your child with stories about worldviews of interdependence, and a knowing that they are one with life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Affirm to the child the important part they play in the whole (family, society, and culture, extending out to the whole world), “You are a part of the whole, and anything that you do has an effect on everything and everyone else. The world would not be the same without your brilliance.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • “I was born in New Mexico, not ten miles from an old Indian settlement. The natives there were descendants of the Anasazi. They lived around rocks and mountains filled with petroglyphs. I would visit with them often, and one day, when I was a ripe youth, I experienced a vision quest, and in this dream time I saw the truth: the ancients had indeed been visited by aliens, as depicted on their petroglyphs. And these aliens had given then knowledge—knowledge of life, the universe, and everything. I discovered this knowledge through much research, many more dream times, and other means. And I chose to share this knowledge with the world.”

  • “I wouldn’t go on that man, I’m a pro and I wouldn’t even do it” - 12 year old boy. 😂... I just wanted the picture, I’m not looking to leave in a body bag thank you very much. 👍🏻 That drop was straight down and not the smooth kind of straight down. The straight down that would be accompanied by multiple collisions against protruding rocks. 🏔 I prefer my limbs attached, thank you.

Aside from my horrific imaginative scenarios of what could happen if I did attempt my death, the views sure were a sight to be seen. The only way to overcome the grey clouds perched over Kelowna was to get on top of them. 🏂 We really lucked out on having such a clear day on the tippy tip of the hill. I had to ride my very first T-bar to get up to this peak. I’m proud to say I made it up multiple times, and on a snowboard that’s not always an easy feat.

I have to say Big White is definitely on my list of favourite ski hills. There are options for all ski levels, and the fresh powder at the top is the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Winding through snow ghosts (trees completely ghosted by snow) 🌲 ❄️ and testing my skills in narrow, but plush, tree paths. 10/10 would recommend. 🥇

He’ll be in care for some time while his paws heal, and having daily dressing changes and treatments at the vets. He’s a very trusting and gentle soul, and his carers are head over heels in love with him.❤️💙
