  • WHAT IS CELLULITE?

Cellulite is fat beneath your skin that takes on a lumpy or dimpled appearance; it can make your skin look like cottage cheese.
-
Up to 80-90% of women have cellulite at some point in their lives and usually occurs during  peri-menopause and/or menopause.
-
Hormones also seem to play a role in the appearance of cellulite: as we age , our bodies produce less estrogen—a hormone that helps keep blood vessels flowing smoothly.
-
Less estrogen can mean poorer circulation, which can also mean a decrease in new collagen production, and the breakdown of older connective tissue.
-
Being overweight does make the appearance of cellulite more noticeable; the more fat you have underneath your skin, the more it's likely to put stress on your connective tissue and bulge out of it’s weak spots.

But cellulite also happens to women of all shapes and sizes. Even very lean women who workout and eat properly still have cellulite."

Unfortunately, there is no quick fix, even with creams or lotions that promise to get rid of unwanted cellulite in a few short weeks.

However,  if you build beautiful lean muscles that are firm and strong, maintain healthy circulation and lose excess body fat the appearance of cellulite will become less visible, and can even disappear.

I can confidently say that the majority of ladies who I come across lack enough protein in their diet to meet their goals!
.
Although many are sceptical of shakes on the market now a days (there are tons to chose from😅) a pure/whey protein can be a perfect addition to your day to day intake when wanting to loss fat and gain muscle!
.
🚨NEWS FLASH🚨
I have been drinking protein shakes since I started training 6 years ago and I don’t have muscles like Arnie or look like any type of man....😊
.
It is quick to grab, not a lot of calories (I mix mine with water, if you get a decent one the taste is just as good), and can be something sweet to have in those afternoons between lunch and dinner when those cravings start to kick in!🥰
.

Date Nights 👫Vs Calorie Counting⚖️

Just because your keeping an eye on your weight doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy dinners with friends or date night with partners!
Here is a few really simple things I like to do to keep my intake in check
👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
.
1. I go to restaurants I’ve been to before and know the menu! Makes it easier to calculate!
.
2. I plan my daily intake before it’s starts! I always do it at least the day before so I’m not left short of calories once I get there!
.
3. If I do go over, I DON’T PANIC because it’s not the end of the world 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just drop calories from the next couple of days to make up for it!
.
BOOM! And there you go! Date nights with no complications 💪🏼💖

Sometimes, no matter how important your goals are to you, it's a struggle to bring your best effort to your gym session (or work up the motivation to make it happen at all). Right? 
But whether you're trying to lose weight, train for a race, keep your stress in check, or any of the other worthwhile reasons to make fitness a part of your life, staying consistent is key, even when you really, really, really tired and busy. 
I put in this quick 30 minute booty leg circuit you can do it from home or hotel. 
You have no excuses you don’t need equipment if you don’t have it just use your bodyweight. 
Workout 3 rounds and 30 second rest after each round of exercises 15-20 reps each exercise or side. 
1. Bulgarian Lunges
2. Sumo Deadlifts 
3. Rdls with Goblet Squats
4. Donkey kicks 
5. Single leg hip bridges 
6. Frog 🐸 pumps
