  • Just sitting here waiting to see if hurricane Dorian is going to hit us bad 😅 Tomorrow is Sam and i’s anniversary and we were supposed to leave for Charleston butttttt it’s looking like it may not happen because everyone is being evacuated there. I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t cry about it yesterday but that quickly went away when I realized there so many people out there right now that are without and are devastated because of this hurricane. It really made our “plans for our anniversary not working out” feel so insignificant. _ Thankfully we are trying to reschedule to still leave at some point this weekend 🙌🏽 So we are really praying that this storm blows out into the sea far far away. So since we will be stuck here in the rain tomorrow for our anniversary what should we do?? We are NOT working that’s for sure 🤣 I told Sam as much as we would want to we have to take the day off but we need suggestions!! 🧐

  • Our goal as a parent is to encourage growth and change. What?!? No! I don't want this to change! I BOTH never want him to grown up, but also could not be more excited when he does something that proves he's growing and developing; every day, heck every hour! It's wonderful to watch him change, and I know it's God's beautiful design, but it's sad on a mom's heart... On my selfish momma level, I'm losing some stuff that's my absolute favorite, right before my eyes. I know I'm gaining something at the same time, something incredible, but this is about the tiny stuff, I'm mourning that stuff because it deserves to be mourned, tiny fingers and tiny toes, already becoming a thing of the past. #finndaley #whereyoustay #momlife #babylove

  • What do you guys think of these blues?! We’ve posted a few over the last two days and we are really excited to dive into more designs with this color! _ We still have a few blue paintings leftover and we will share them on our stories today! Dubai remains very aware of its heritage and asked the architects to come up with a design that reflected Dubai’s ancient traditions and long history. Aedas architects worked with ideas involving the sails of dhows and falcons’ wings, but finally hit upon the beautiful shell form of each station. Reflecting the bravery of Dubai’s divers who provided the pearls that led to the city’s early prosperity, the roofs of all the stations are an illuminescent shell – a long span steel structure without internal columns or supports based on an elliptical cone over a curve.   • Here is another piece that will be on our website in just a little over 2 weeks! _ Anyone else late in the game to creating a website? It feels like we are leaps and leaps behind BUT there’s no better time than now right? 😂 So if you are feeling behind just remember that it took us 2 years to create a website haha! _ It just goes to show that not everything comes together all at once. Some things take a little more time than others and you are never too far behind. Take baby steps. You got this! _ @werrellwoodworks

  • Okay okay okay, I thought I had imagined exactly what mirror I wanted to build for our room but this may have kicked the other idea to the curb. _ This mirror is HUGE and HEAVY! 😅 But it was oh so fun to build. We love clients like @thatbankgirl that allow us to get creative with a big project like this! As soon as she said “I trust your creativity” we ran with it! _ We are excited to show you what other projects we have going on this week! Happy Halloween friends! _ @werrellwoodworks
