  • While I’m fond of our dog, I’m getting a bit fed up of him eating all the ripe tomatoes on the vine and pulling off all the green ones. I’ve yet to have a single red tomato this week. And ploughing through the courgettes to get to them is a wanton act of insubordination. Perhaps this also explains the lack of raspberries this year too... #homegrown #vineripened

    While I’m fond of our dog, I’m getting a bit fed up of him eating all the ripe tomatoes on the vine and pulling off all the green ones. I’ve yet to have a single red tomato this week.   • Simple 6pt lunch today.  I mixed a tuna pouch with a diced boiled egg, 1T Hellman’s Lite & 1/2T sweet relish for an easy tuna sandwich.  Cauliflower crackers, pickle, cucumber, cauliflower & fiesta ranch veggie dip on the side. -

If I’m really honest while I think it’s important to look after ourselves as busy parents it’s something I find not particularly achievable.

⭐️Insalatona ricca col tonno⭐️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📝Ingredienti per 2 pers
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
150g insalata misticanza bio (lattughino, lattuga rossa, spinacino, valeriana, rucola)
200g tonno in vetro ( a me piace il @tonnoasdomar) già sgocciolato
12 olive nere
220g fagiolini baby spuntati
10 pomodorini ciliegini
6 cetriolini sottaceto bio
2 cucchiai di capperi ben dissalati e sciacquati
1 pannocchia di mais sbucciata e cotta al vapore 
2 cucchiai misto di semi oleosi (girasole,lino,zucca,sesamo,anguria)
1 cucchiaio aceto di mele
2 cucchiai olio evo
sale pepe
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cuocete al vapore i fagiolini e poi la pannocchia.
Tagliate i pomodorini a spicchietti.
Sgocciolate le olive e tagliatele a rondelle. Sgocciolate capperi e cetriolini e tagliate gli ultimi a rondelle.
Dividete i fagiolini in piccoli segmenti, poi con un coltello sgranate la pannocchia, raccogliendo i chicchi e i pezzi in una ciotola.
Componete l'insalata con le foglie, i fagiolini raffreddati, i pomodorini il mais, le olive, i capperi e i cetriolini. Condite con poco sale, pepe, olio e aceto e mescolate con le mani per distribuire i sapori.
Completate con 2cucchiaiate di semi oleosi e all'ultimo momento unite il tonno a pezzettoni.

  • Were talking School Lunch in my stories today! We’re a lunch lacking family, with the exception of a few days a month, so streamlining the process is necessary! I sat down with the kids and have them tell me things that they would want to eat this year for lunch and we made a list! This also helps them be able to pack their own lunch without missing anything! I know that we could add hundreds of items to this list, but these are the things that I could see them eating on a regular basis and actually enjoying, not throwing away! 
How does your family do school lunch? 
Do your kids eat hot lunch, or bring their own? 
Do you pack home lunch at night or in the morning? 
What’s your kids’ favorite to pack??

  • A giant 4pt Chef salad for lunch today with creamy Honey Mustard Dressing!! SO GOOD!  I like a lot of salad dressing but I don’t want to spend the points & I’m not a fan of the 0pt dressings at all.  I stretched my 2T of Honey Mustard to a 1/4 cup by mixing it with 2T Non Fat Greek Yogurt & 1tsp Hellman’s Lite mayo.  It was perfect! 🥗-
