I can and will be painfully optimistic if I need to be, for myself and others. There’s a time and place for near naive optimism. But, I’m aware it can also do more harm than good. .

But what I have learned over the last 6 years of being somewhat of a “role model” on social media, that only showing the ✨🎥highlight reel🎥✨ and forcing a fake ass smile 😬 doesn’t do you, or your audience, any good. Especially yourself. .

I didn’t become all-knowing (okay, okay, I’m no where near all-knowing) by being perfect. By never fucking up. By taking the easy route. .
.
.
I learned from failures. I learned from heartbreak. I learned from rejection. I learned from falling down and scraping myself up off the floor time and time again. .
.
.
But what I’ve taught myself and others, was that the point is to never stay down. To never *live* there... in failure, rejection, shame, guilt, mistakes. .
.
.
I’d rather show you my failures than just my highlight reel. I’d rather show you that we’ve all got inner-struggles,  and that no exceptional life, physique, career, academics, or relationship is effortless and easy. Fuuuuuuh that. .
.
.
Real connectedness comes from relatability and extreme vulnerability. And the more connected we are, the more we can authentically show support, love, and celebrate the wins together 💪🏻💕. .

  • The distinction may or may not be subtle to women. I dont know about that but I do know that it isnt subtle to men. 
I hated seeing the women in my life surrounded by men who couldn't have cared less about whether they were happy. The first time I really noticed the opposite was sitting across the table from my sister and her fiance 7 years ago, seeing her smile because she was finally happy. Joe isnt an easy man. He challenges everyone, especially her, but he loves her and keeps her safe and happy.

And she loves him too.

That makes me happy.

First thing you need to know? You are not alone. About 90 percent of adults across the globe test positive for the virus that causes cold sores. Most of these people will likely never show symptoms, but some may deal with recurring breakouts.

Flare-ups can occur at any time and are triggered by things like stress, hormonal fluctuations, surgery, fevers, illness, or sun exposure. But while they can be unavoidable, there are a few things you can do to calm or shorten the duration of a cold sore outbreak.

So, here it is. 👋🏽 🔴👄 Now what? 💋Lemon balm: A member of the mint family, it may help reduce the redness and swelling associated with a blister. However, symptoms such as pain and scabbing did not improve with lemon balm. Most research suggests using a lip balm with at least one percent lemon balm. As an alternative, a compress made of a lemon balm infusion (tea) may provide similar benefits. Lemon balm may also help protect against future outbreaks.
💋Ice: Ice may not reduce the duration of a breakout, but it can ease the discomfort and inflammation of cold sores. Apply a cold pack directly to the sores for temporary relief.
💋Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera gel is widely available and can be grown as a houseplant. While research connecting the plant to cold sores is limited, studies have found that applying it topically can aid in soothing the skin when a cold sore breaks out. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can be helpful.
💋Stress réduction: Because stress can cause the herpes virus to come out of dormancy, reducing the amount of stress in your life is one way to prevent cold sores. Meditation, regular exercise, and avoiding the causes of stress in your life may help.
💋Vitamin E: Vitamin E soothes the skin and may help to relieve pain and discomfort from cold sores. It repairs damaged skin, reduces inflammation and has antioxidant properties.

I started my own business with Arbonne not because I want to sell something ( which I’m not at all doing that) but to have the financial means to truly do what i want. No typical career can ever give me that. If you want a life of freedom and choices you HAVE to leave your comfort zone and get out there and go do it🌟
