  • Chocolate peanut butter truffils
Ingredients:
1 scoop IdealLean Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein
1/3 c fat-free peanut flour
1/4 c coconut flour
1/4 c xylitol or stevia
1/3 c almond milk
1/4 c natural peanut butter
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
Optional Topping
3.5 oz 85% Lindt Dark chocolate bar
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1/4 c cocoa powder
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients, except for the topping.
2. Form into balls with a tablespoon.
3. If you’d like to top it, melt chocolate bar and coconut oil together. Then lightly dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 c unsweetened almond milk

1 c brewed coffee

1 scoop IdealLean White Chocolate Peppermint Protein

2 tbsp. fat-free whipped cream (optional)

  • When I'm asked about my #ketolife  and whether or not I ever feel like giving it up. My answer is a smile and a polite no. Keto is who I am. It is so deeply embedded in me change is not even a consideration. Not even one tiny temptation 🚫

Sure it can seem hard and at the start it always will be, let's remember you are taking a drastic change of lifestyle and 🧛‍♂️ Find your why. My why was simple. I wanted to lose weight after a lifetime of obesity and failure 
My why became more important than that. I'm an older parent 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and turn 46 this year.. My daughter is 5, my son is 1. I am responsible for their well being and development until the day I am dust. I dont want to leave my dreams come true without a father at a young age. If I look after myself, I can look after them. What a reward that is ❤

DOING IT is a whole different thing.
⠀
For me, one of the bigger challenges I've faced was overcoming my “all-or-nothing” mentality with food.
⠀ 
If I was eating pizza, I'd slam the whole pie. 
If I was eating ice cream, I was poundin’ the pint.
If I wanted Oreos, I'd tackle a full sleeve.
⠀ 
I could sit here and say that I’ve learned to have complete control of my cravings — that I’m a “perfect little healthy eater” who never goes off plan.
⠀
But I’d be lying out my booty-bum. ⠀
I still struggled with moderation.
⠀ 
Sometimes, all I want to do is eat my weight in Reese Cups or swan dive into a swimming pool of Ben & Jerry’s Americone Dream…
⠀ 
What’s different now is that I’ve stopped hiding from my cravings. Now I face them head-on.
⠀ 
You see, we all have things we struggle with, and until we address them head-on, we’ll continue struggling. Everyone’s a bit different, but here are some strategies that have helped me gain control:

1️⃣ Keep Overly-Tempting Foods OUT of the House
⠀
For me, it’s keeping multiple pints of ice cream OUT of the freezer. Sometimes, I’m able to mindfully dish out 1-2 servings, but I often find myself going back into the kitchen to finish the rest 🙈…
⠀
Instead, I’ll buy foods that I have more control over that still satisfy my cravings. Right meow, I’m really digging dark chocolate and gummy worms… you know, cuz I’m 12 years old 👦🏼🚂

2️⃣ Make Overly-Tempting Foods “Go & Get” Treats
⠀
If I want ice cream, I can still have it…
⠀ 
BUT(t🍑) —> I have to physically leave the house to “go & get” it.
⠀
Recently, I’ve been going to for a single scoop waffle cone (see pic)
⠀
3️⃣ What's Done Most of the Time Matters Most
⠀
As much as I say this, it’s still so, so easy to forget...
⠀
I have to remind myself on the reg that just because I overindulge once, it’s not that big of a deal. In the same way, though, one healthy meal doesn’t mean I’m clear to eat junk food the rest of the day...
⠀ 
As long as I’m staying active, staying mindful, and staying focused on eating whole foods MOST of the time, I know the occasional treat (even unplanned overindulgence) ain’t no thang

If you don't want to drink water all day long, then there are a ton of alternatives. 
Just keep in mind if on the label says "healthy" doesn't necessary means it is. Read nutritional labels, and you will be good. . . . . -

  • - 🤔 Here it is - the famous comparison , but this time we are both at goal ! Loosing 136kgs between us , couldn't be more happier with our outcome ! So much more zest for life and all round joy with the healthy lives we now live! Even though we are at goal , this journey never ends !💪 credit :@strengthing_steph.
