  • Jamming to the ONE and the ONLY Deftones today. Knuckle push ups are one of my favorite warms ups and are really effective for conditioning for punching. Due to the fact that it works most of the same muscle groups, conditions the knuckles and forces you to keep your wrist reinforced with good bone alignment and muscle clenching/twitching. Unless you would like to seriously mess up your wrist that is 😂

  • Il riscaldamento nell'atletica leggera

1)L'atleta corricchia🏃🏾‍♂️fino a cominciare a sudare appena, su una distanza compresa tra 800 e 1500 metri.

2)Si inizia a fare un po' di stretching🧘‍♀️solo in caso di una muscolatura eccessivamente rigida. Andrebbero evitati i molleggi, e sarebbe meglio accoppiare esercizi di calistenia per incrementare il flusso sanguigno e la temperatura🌡️corporea.

3)A questo punto è possibile cominciare esercizi specifici per la corsa.

4)Andature rilassate, via via più veloci, sono il passo successivo.

5)Ogni atleta deve standardizzare la sua routine di riscaldamento, a prescindere dal livello di performance.

  • Its not sexy, it’s just the first thing I do every time I walk into the gym

People always seemed to be asking about warmup. No matter what’s on the training agenda for the day, this is how I start. 
_
This simple maneuver “Jefferson Curl” makes my back feel amazing and releases all the tension. 
_
I can literally feel the resetting of the scapula into alignment.
_
Start with 1-2 reps without weight. Just let the arms hang. I will often kinda wiggle side to side and get a little bit of movement in the upper back while weightless. 
_
Then progress to light DBs. The 45# barbell might be too much if you aren’t familiar with this. 
_
Once you get comfortable with it, feel free to stand on a riser to get a bigger depression of the scap at the bottom 
_
I know people do this for strength work, as well. @andersvarner says he does sets with the 80s. 
_
Maybe one day. For now, I super dig it for warmup and releasing tension before training.

☕️ Never been able to touch the toes?! Give this toe touch progression a try.  When performing this, just make sure you're pushing the hips back as you touch the toes.  Credit to the guys over at FMS for putting this toe touch progression together years ago!

🌯Here's how to do the toe touch progression!

👉Start by testing yourself
Keep the knees straight and try and touch the toes.
1️⃣ Start by placing a rolled up towel or anything you can squeeze between the knees.
2️⃣ Place your toes on a rolled up towel or anything that is raised.
3️⃣ Squeeze the towel and attempt to touch the toes.
4️⃣ Perform five reps.

👉 Step over the towel and place the heels on the towel, so the heels are raised.
🆗 Now repeat steps 3️⃣ and 4️⃣

👉Stand on a flat surface.
🆗 Now repeat steps 3️⃣ and 4️⃣

Now time to retest.
👉Remove the towel between the knees and touch the toes.
