  • ‘Once you have the privilege to know, you have the duty to act’.
~
Outside a halal slaughterhouse in zaandam, the Netherlands 📍🇳🇱
~
Swipe for a video and photos of us being able to feed these beautiful babas in the slaughterhouse holding pens - all non-graphic footage (however the kill floor was just a room away 😔)
~
Whether it’s Halal, factory farmed, free range, organic, red tractor or @official_rspca approved ‘meat’, all the animals trapped in the meatrix end up in the same place: a house of slaughter.
~
Meat cannot be precured without violence.
~
An animal goes into a slaughterhouse against their will, and comes out chopped up into tiny pieces. Nothing humane happens along the way.
~
Depending on what slaughterhouse they go to - they’ll either get a knife across their throat, a bolt gun to their head, or lowered into a CO2 gas chamber. They are only babies.
~
It’s not pretty to talk about, let alone be metres away from it.
~
We don’t go to slaughterhouses because we like it, and your damn straight we don’t talk about it because we want to. We would rather this didn’t happen at all. We speak up for the animals like we would want to be spoken for if we were in their shoes.
~
We go to slaughterhouses to document what is happening. To show the animals love and comfort. With the footage we get, we try to spread as much awareness as possible, so people can consciously break free from their social conditioning and not blindly contribute to this unnecessary violence anymore.
~
It is our moral obligation to fight against injustice when we know it is happening. Especially when it is to the most innocent and defenceless in society.
~
We shall keep fighting for their freedom until we see a world of total animal liberation. Until every cage is empty, until every slaughterhouse is closed.
~
If anyone needs any help with going vegan - hit me up! We’re in this together ✊🏽🌱🐏 #veganfortheanimals

  • Meet the ‘waste’ products of the milk industry. These poor babies lay in their own urine on the hard floor at a sale yard - brought into existence so people can drink their biological cow mothers milk, that is biologically meant for them and rightfully meant for them.
_
Repost @theforgottenphotography
A cow needs to give birth in order to produce milk.
What happens to her newborn calf is the dairy industry's darkest secret.
_
Every year, hundreds of thousands of bobby calves are either sent to slaughter or are killed on farms in their first week of life so that milk can be harvested from their mothers for human consumption.
_
Considered economically insignificant, male calves and the females who are excess to the dairy industry's needs, are separated from their mothers on their first day of life. From as young as 5 days old, they are loaded onto trucks and sent to slaughter (or 1st saleyards as seen here). ——————————————————————————
Do you think the babies in the video deserve this? Want to go dairyfree? http://dairycruelty.com.au/how-to-go-dairy-free/

The choice is in your hands.

  • Have you tried discussing veganism with your friends and family?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How was it? Tell me in the comments!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My opinion - unless they come to you or are very open-minded, don’t do it 🙏🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Save your energy for those that want to hear what you have to say!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Christmas is coming so instead - I would recommend asking them to watch a documentary as a gift to you (Dominion or Earthlings)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Allow them to watch it alone, and then don’t ask them about it - they will come to you when they’re ready
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We want animal liberation now, and there are 7.7 billion people on this planet for us to talk to - spend your valuable time taking to people that are ready to hear your message ❤️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Workouts are creeping back in! 150 push-ups today to get back into the swing of things 💪🏼

  • Last weekend I had a really pleasant conversation with two girls. Both of them were shocked by the footage. What shocked them the most, was seeing all the baby chicks, who are shredded on their first day of life. After explaining the details, we went over to the dairy industry. I asked them, if they knew, what happens to all the male calves, born in the dairy industry. While one of the girl answered, that she thinks, they are killed, I could see the awakening in both girls eyes. Couple of minutes later I wanted to know, what would stop them from trying to be vegan. They looked at each other started smiling and answered with ''actually nothing''. Of course, I handed them out a card, and told them about other resources, that might be helpful as well.

Seeds planted ✅🌱

  • Hmm, so today is Halloween. Instead of watching the same old classics or new horror movies, I recommend DOMINION. Full documentary for free on dominionmovement.com or YouTube. It’s a true story. Can you stomach a REAL horror movie? Happy Halloween... 🎃🔪 #truestory #horrormovie #halloween

  • [30/30: Do you really think you going vegan will make a difference?] .
So here’s the big question I get asked on a pretty regular basis. Is there actually any point in me being vegan? Will my individual actions actually have any impact on the things happening in the world?
But imagine if this was the attitude people took to everything. Would it really make a difference to segregation if I choose to sit in the white section of the bus? Would feminism really start to be recognised just because I attended a march? Would it really make a difference to the environment if I spoke out against fracking? The answer to each of these questions - no probably not, you alone are not likely to completely win your war. But if everyone thought like this nothing would be accomplished. Ever.
All it takes is one person to inspire one more person and so on and on and on. Your individual actions may not add up to much alone, but for every person you inspire to make a change the impact of your actions are doubled. Then doubled again when they inspire someone in turn. Rosa Parks didn’t single handedly end segregation, but her actions inspired activists for years to come and their collective voice has taken the movement leaps and bounds. There is strength in numbers. But in order for these numbers to grow we have to stop waiting for someone else to make the first move.

It may feel lonely and it may feel like your impact is not felt. But trust me, it is. A movement is made up of the cumulative efforts of individuals. This world is run on supply and demand, and while one person in the world refusing to demand animal products may not make a difference, there are now enough of us that every extra voice has an impact. There are approximately 350% more vegans in the UK now than in 2006. We started off small and we started off questioning if our individual actions would make a difference. But they have. Slowly but surely, they have.

  • What we are up against as animal rights activists (and as caring humans) is an industry that is so wildly aware of its own immorality that it would do almost anything to hide its processes from the outside world. .

Example:
A 5-day slaughterhouse camp with the aim to raise awareness about "livestock" animals' suffering, took place at Tönnies, Europe's biggest pig slaughterhouse, in June. It was clear even during the event that the slaughterhouse owner made continuous attempts to block the pigs from our - and thereby the public's - sight. Then when media came to document, the company even reacted by having almost no pigs at all on the bottom levels of all the incoming trucks while stacking them all together on the second level, out of the cameras' reach.

Only recently now we found out that right after the event, Tönnies bought the public land we were standing on to document the pigs' suffering. As the area is now privatised, we are not able to hold any further events there.

We then tried to negotiate with the police to let is stop trucks at the side of the road or at the slaughterhouse road's entrance. They first allowed this, but during another meeting last week they suddenly said that they had gone to seek "legal support". Their legal support said that we should be banned from stopping trucks and even ASKING drivers to stop: even if drivers stop voluntarily after seeing our "2 minutes please" signs, police would tell them to keep moving and not stop. .

They are trying hard... so we will develop new strategies and then continue. Even moreso now. The more there is to hide, the more there is to reveal.

  • France 🇫🇷 is a beautiful country, but due to the amount of things we see daily with @dxefrance I forget to truly enjoy nature.
🚁
Flying my drone in nature reminds me of how beautiful this country and nature 🏞 truly is. It is a perfect chaos, from which we've split apart.
🚁
From which we've tamed temporarily until nature fights back and floods our coastal cities🌊 dries the desert 🏜 more than they already are, melt ❄ the polar caps and eventually destroys humanity itself.
🚁
Enjoy it all you can now, until all is destroyed and disrupted. Not much will be left, if the current rate at which we're destroying the planet, stays the same.

  • We see you, we’re sorry, we’re trying 💔 “Today we met you
Today we saw you
we felt helpless
as the truck pulled away

Today our hearts broke
As your eyes spoke
what could we do
only send love your way

Today your fear rose
because humans chose
to not see that
your mind is alive

Today your blood spilled
because you were killed
you fought till the end
life wanting to thrive

Today your tears fell
as you were put through hell
as the knife slashed you
and your life drained away

Today we asked you
What and how can we do
to stop this madness
we aren't born this way

Today we saw you
Today we felt you
Today we heard you
now you are at peace

Today we stand up
Today we speak up
Today we rise up
until the day this will cease” - Luca Dray 2018 - Vigil Morley Farm

  • Yesterday I spent the morning with Sussex animal save, bearing witness to these beautiful babies before they were driven into the slaughter house 💔
This particular baby would have been about 12-15 months old, he was sweet, curious and frightened. I could tell how young he was as he was trying to suckle my fingers for comfort.
Please, see them for who they are - sentient beings capable of emotions, capable of love, fear and pain.
He is dead now, he was driven into the slaughterhouse by the farmer who “cared for him” and “gave him a good life” he was totally betrayed, he would have been able to smell the blood and fear of the many babies who had been before him that morning.
In the slaughterhouse he was shot in the head with a bolt, then he was strung upside down and had his throat cut.
His dead body will now already be neatly packaged for humans to consume, this beautiful innocent animal is now just a “product” a product that destroys our health, destroys our planet and cost him his life... Ask yourself, is it worth it? For a ten minute meal he lost his life.. is it worth it? When we have an abundance of healthier, cruelty free alternatives so easily available.

Please, if you are against animal cruelty make the connection and leave animals off your plate. ❤️

Ask yourself, is it worth it? For a ten minute meal he lost his life.. is it worth it? When we have an abundance of healthier, cruelty free alternatives so easily available.

Please, if you are against animal cruelty make the connection and leave animals off your plate. ❤️
