  • ~Handstand~

I’m excited to announce that me and my good friend @kbfitbritt are starting a monthly handstand meet up at @center_for_balanced_training ! All levels are welcome. 
Each month will have a different theme or focus. This month's theme is "Find Your Line", which means we will work on improving the strength and stability of your handstand line. If you're a hand balancer already, you know there's always work to be done on your line... ;) We will teach you the technique for a strong, straight handstand line that allows you to balance longer and provides a foundation for numerous other skills. A well-rounded handstand practice should take into account mobility, stability, shoulder endurance, balance, hand placement, alignment, core engagement, tension, focus and commitment.

Brittany and I will team up to lead a 1.5 hour mobility warm up + handstand lesson on finding your line, which will be followed by 1.5 hours of practice with individual help and feedback from the coaches. 
Our goal for this monthly event is to help all levels of handbalancers get farther in their handstand practice. We will warm up together and provide coaching, but you are also free to work on your own training program in a supportive environment. 
Friday, May 17 2:30-5:30pm
$49 to attend - Bring a friend for free!!

Today Lana hit 5 solid reps of 250lbs on leg press! I'm super stoked for her and extremely excited myself! Not to mention the fact that beforehand she had an entire leg workout already done! 
Since the beginning of April, about 2 and a half weeks ago when she started working out, she was only at 90lbs on leg press. Very very proud of her for her progress and continued determination!💪🏼👌🏼🔥❤
I'm so glad I get to walk this journey with you - not only your fitness journey but our lives as a whole - our friendship and our marriage.
