  • @minhminhsaigonsoul takes you to a trip to Vietnam just at the heart of Victoria Street. They have been around for over 21 years, and you know it’s good when you step in on a Friday night and it was bustling with people. Love the decor and murals on the wall, with a sea Non La (vietnamese hats) on the ceilings which makes the place so fresh and vibrant. 
They had a good range on the menu and we wanted to have abit of everything. They do have banquet options available and they were value for money. We ordered the following items.
Lalot ( Grilled beef in vine leaf) 
Prawn Wontons
Saigon Street Fried Pork
Insane Fish
The Lalot was a good entree and was packed with flavours, went really well with the salad on top. You cant go wrong with crunchy wontons, with a drizzle of sesame oil, pepper and sweer & sour sauce. The Saigon Fried Pork was so good, the flavours and texture is good and it went really well with the salad on the side.
My favourite dish of the night has got to be the Insane Fish, crispy barramundi fillet topped with onions, lime, salt and pepper. The dish was presented well and the fish was so good, packed with flavours in every bite. 
I really enjoyed dinner in Minh Minh and the prices are reasonable. Loved the traditional and authentic vietnamese flavours in every dish. The food was good and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend it when you’re in the area! Be sure to check out my review on @zomatomelb

  • Доброе утро! ❤️ Куда ещё применить ревень? Конечно же, в крамбл! Кислая начинка и хрустящая корочка теста! Идеально! 🍓
Рецепт напишу на большую порцию ⏬⏬
Крамбл
Ингредиенты:
Крошка:
200 гр муки
150 гр масла сливочного либо маргарина
100 гр сахара
2 ст.л овсяных хлопьев 
Приготовление:
Начинка может быть любой на ваш вкус. У меня ревень и клубника. Все режем на кубики. И выкладываем в форму в которой будем выпекать. 
Делаем крошку: 
Все ингредиенты (мука, сахар, масло) перемешиваем руками до мелкой крошки, добавляем хлопья и перемешиваем. Сверху нашей начинки засыпаем крошку и немного хлопьев сверху. Ставим в духовку на 30 мин при 180 градусах, до того момента как корочка станет золотистой! Bon appetite ❤️

  • Afternoon Tea 🍓 anyone?? Strawberries are so delicious right now! So I thought this tart was a perfect opportunity to let them shine 🙌🏻 This strawberry tart has a sweet shortcrust pastry, a pastry cream filling, topped with sliced strawberries and glazed with a vanilla sugar syrup (for that extra shine 😉) Although I would love to slice it right now, it’s off to my Dad’s place tonight for dessert. Lucky us!

  • Ci sono sapori che ti riportano indietro nel tempo, ricordi dell’infanzia che ti scaldano il ♥️, quando mia madre tornava stanca dal lavoro nei campi e velocemente preparava una insalata di arance e finocchi, un’insalata semplice ma davvero deliziosa 😋 •
Purtroppo l’altro giorno è stato l’anniversario della sua scomparsa e tra tanti ricordi, mi è tornato alla mente anche questo semplice piatto che entrambe amavamo ♥️

Allora ho pensato di combinare quei sapori in maniera diversa ed ho preparato delle tagliatelle fresche con crema di finocchi, pesto di arance, salmone e mandorle.
Il risultato?

Allora, se mi avete seguito nelle stories, sapete che la giornata di ieri non è iniziata nel migliore dei modi, dato che uscendo di casa mi son trovata due serpentelli davanti la porta. Momenti di panico puro, lo giuro! 😖
A quel punto ho iniziato a spuntare le varie cose dalla mia to do list, ma a metà giornata l'intoppo. Ho accompagnato la nonna dal medico per un controllino di routine; ne usciamo che deve fare un ecodoppler d'urgenza. Passo le seguenti ore al telefono a tentare di prenotare l'esame, con cup, ospedali, numerosi reparti dei vari ospedali che mi rimbalzano stile palla da ping pong. E non ne esco (a meno di prendere appuntamento il 22 agosto). Ma è mai possibile????
Stamattina si riparte con i tentativi, quindi mi serve proprio qualcosa per tirarmi su come la torta di rose. Ne vorrei ancora una intera a casa, e invece è già finita. Piango! 😭
Ora il mio pensiero va a tutti i ragazzi che hanno la prima prova della matura, soprattutto ai miei ragazzi che ora sono arrivati a questo traguardo. In bocca al lupo a tutti e sfruttate tuto ciò che avete imparato in questi lunghi anni 💪

  • Ci sono sapori che ti riportano indietro nel tempo, ricordi dell’infanzia che ti scaldano il ♥️, quando mia madre tornava stanca dal lavoro nei campi e velocemente preparava una insalata di arance e finocchi, un’insalata semplice ma davvero deliziosa 😋 •
    Purtroppo l’altro giorno è stato l’anniversario della sua scomparsa e tra tanti ricordi, mi è tornato alla mente anche questo semplice piatto che entrambe amavamo ♥️

    Allora ho pensato di combinare quei sapori in maniera diversa ed ho preparato delle tagliatelle fresche con crema di finocchi, pesto di arance, salmone e mandorle.
    Il risultato?

  • Broccoli + Mushroom Beef Stir-fry.

INGREDIENTS (Servings 4):
•	2 Tbsps avocado oil, or olive oil divided.
•	1 pound flank steak, sliced into thin 0.5'' inch pieces.
•	1 large head of broccoli, broken into smaller florets.
•	3 fresh garlic cloves, minced or pressed.
•	1.5 lbs. button mushrooms, cut into quarters.
•	2-3 green onions, sliced.
•	1 Tbsp sesame seeds.

STIR FRY SAUCE:
•	1/4 cup coconut aminos, Bragg's liquid aminos, OR low sodium soy sauce.
•	2 Tbsps fresh squeezed lemon juice.
•	1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger.
•	1 Tbsp sesame oil.
•	1 Tbsp raw honey (Optional).

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.	Heat half of a Tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add broccoli and stir fry for 1-2 minutes, then reduce the heat, and add in 2-3 Tablespoons of water. Cover the skillet/wok, cooking for about 1-2 minutes more, or until your broccoli is crisp tender and bright green. Set aside on a plate.
2.	Meanwhile, in a small bowl whisk all stir fry sauce ingredients and set aside.
3.	Heat 1 tbsp oil in the skillet and add in the steak. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked to your liking, then set aside.
4.	Add in the remaining oil, garlic and mushrooms. Stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
5.	Return steak and broccoli to the skillet/wok and pour the stir fry sauce on top. Cook for additional 2 minutes, gently stirring into the pan to get everything nicely coated with your sauce.
6.	Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
