- A Cane Toad watches us traipse through the rainforest.
- One month later, and we've finally gotten around to installing the wildlife pond in the spare corner at the plot! The thought of putting one in never crossed our minds until we saw how many people had them on Instagram. Hopefully the toads will approve of the new water source and maybe some frogs will move in too. Around the outside, on the now exposed dirt, we've sprinkled some wildflower seeds to give the pollinators some extra food. As for the pond itself, we'll have to make a trip to the garden centre in the next couple of weeks (devastating) to pick out an aquatic plant or two to pop on the shelves 🐸

- Luigi’s Mansion was the first game I ever played on the GameCube and has been one of my favorites ever since. I’m so happy we are getting a third one for the Switch, and I absolutely love the idea of it being set in a giant hotel! This is definitely a day one pick up for me. 💚
- Are you hearing a "w-a-a-a-h" call that lasts about three to seven seconds with periods of silence in between? You are likely hearing this guy, a male Fowler's toad! From late April through July, they can be heard calling as they try to attract a suitable mate.
Fowler's toads are one of only four toad and frog species commonly found on the northern half of Assateague Island. They can be found in sandy or forested areas, near fresh water pools or ponds. (📸: @creativelyphotos) ***************************************
