  • MOCK TRADE: Solomon Thomas never really got the chance in San Francisco and could use a change of scenery. If he can even be a high quality run defender for the Packers, that would be huge for him and the team’s run defense which needs a boost. Remember this guy was the #3 overall pick just 2 years ago but never really got the opportunity most #3 overall picks usually receive. He has the chance to shine in Green Bay. If he can become a decent pass rusher as well, that would be even better. Thoughts?#packers#gopackgo#titletown#greenbaypackerssuperbowlchampions#nfl#football#trade#ideas

  • What would you change? Want to know why I have a team so high or low?
.
These rankings are based off both preseason expectations and the team’s play over the first two weeks.
.
1.) New England Patriots
This one couldn’t have been easier. A 76-3 cumulative score over the first two weeks has murmurs of an undefeated season back in New England.
2.) Kansas City Chiefs
I was high on the Chiefs coming into the season and they’ve done nothing to change my mind. Patrick Mahomes has yet to encounter the dreaded sophomore slump, the defense looks improved, and Sammy Watkins looks like his old self.
3.) Dallas Cowboys
Much scrutinized coming into the year, Kellen Moore has helped transform Dak Prescott and the passing game into a buzzsaw. And we know how good Ezekiel Elliott and the defense are.
.
4.) Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson has been an even bigger pleasant surprise than Moore. Called a running back all of last year, Jackson leads the league in touchdowns and passer rating. Defensively, they aren’t as dominant as last year.
5.) Green Bay Packers
Green Bay’s defense took the leap I expected. The offense is trending the other way. Aaron Rodgers isn’t playing his best and the skill positions are weak.
6.) Seattle Seahawks
This is the same Seattle offense we’ve seen for a while — the running game is strong with timely Russell Wilson throws. D.K. Metcalf has looked nice. Defensively, there’s potential once everyone gets healthy and acclimated.
7.) Los Angeles Rams
I’m not as high on the Rams as everyone else. Neither of their wins were particularly inspiring. We know this team is capable of a Super Bowl run, but with Super Bowl hangover, the questions around their stars, and the offseason losses, I’m not betting on it.
.
8.) Buffalo Bills
I loved Buffalo’s offseason. The offense finally has NFL talent and the defense is among the league’s best. I just don’t see the stars necessary to win big games, especially with such a young roster.
9.) San Francisco 49ers
My biggest concern with the 49ers is health. Year after year, this team has a ton of injuries, and the roster is full of players with injury concerns.

  • Last weekend the boys defeated Harvard rugby to secure their first trophy of this 2019 season.
In this weekend's fixture, they face off against the green machine once more in what is to be the league decider. Getting this win means that the men of the north are in good sitting to win the league. #TheNorthRemembers
