  • Andrew has been working so much lately, and I’ve been going a little crazy working on our bookkeeping. 🤪  He surprised me and came home early today!  We sat in the hot tub while it was snowing! We had one hour before the kids got home from school and actually had uninterrupted conversations!! 🙌

Firstly, this cafe has the best decor EVER for a science gal like myself 🌡👩🏽‍🔬🧪👩🏾‍⚕️💊after a hard (🤪) morning playing with kids at outpatient clinic, I think this was a well deserved lunch reward. (okay technically it was only one kid but I had to play with him for a whole hour while his mum was talking to the doctor, and I think we became good friends and he was kept pretty entertained) Great flavor and combination of ingredients to the vegan hotpot bowl. Bunsen always does great coffee so there’s nothing to complain about with their iced latte. An affordable vegetarian/vegan friendly lunch, woohoo! .

5) Play board games and eat your favourite dessert with your friends: I usually stay away from sugary and fatty foods, and I have trained myself to not crave or drool for it, but once a month, I never forget to get a slice of my favourite cheesecake! It’s rewarding! 
Wait, did I say stay away from sugary foods? YES, it’s possible! Other people’s initial reaction would be that they are extremely hard to resist. It is actually a change of lifestyle for you to achieve it. Train your palette and lessen your sugar intake gradually. Start with your coffee sugar, milktea and other sugary drinks. Followed with biscuits, desserts, spreads and then main courses. Your tastebuds will adjust once you really are in it to accept the challenge. Feed your mind with activities that does not involve your your day job, to keep your sanity! Board games are fantastic way to do it. I do it with friends and people I love, it’s rejuvenating. 😍😉 Fact: Millions of people die in Diabetes and complications and taking care of ourselves at an early onset and training ourselves to intake nourishing foods will give us nothing but better and longer life! It’s now all up to you. 😉 Happy Thursday! 😊
