  • Some of this evening's project. New, in the pants, quick draw holsters. I've tried several brands over the years for my single actions and still can't find the right one. So the hell with it, I'll make it instead. Sounds goofy, but I would rather comfortably carry my guns securely than having them flop around.   • Had such an incredible experience last week in the Philippines! I feel so honored to have the opportunity to travel to the other side of the world to tune and put the finishing touches on this TopSpeed built GTR after @bstdegg assembled it there in Manila, Philippines just weeks ago. We got it on a local dyno and I tuned it, and then dialed it in on the street until myself and the customer were both happy with the end result. After that I was shown around the area a bit and got to eat some great local food and learn a little bit about the country in general. 8,600 miles from home and treated like family!   • All in a weekendโ€™s work...trackside with one TSM built GTR in South Georgia, while keeping tabs on two GTRโ€™s at a half mile event in Indiana, while logged into another GTR at The Shootout in Ohio, later to go over some logs on a fresh build we delivered who is getting ready to tear up the Mexican highways in an undisclosed location, and to finish it up remotely dyno tuning another customerโ€™s GTR until 1am in Utah. Could these customers go race their cars without us checking in on them and making tweaks if necessary? By all means. But does it feel good knowing we got your back and are going to make sure you and you car are safe and that it is performing at its peak capabilities?   • I wonโ€™t lie I really impressed myself with my situational awareness on this one! During this race with my buddy @coop_ftw at the recent Speed Addicts event I had one shift left to hopefully hold my very slight lead through the back half, and I know damn well my car doesnโ€™t like to 3-4 shift too fast with this clutch, but I got greedy and excited. It locked me out of 4th and I had my nitrous window switch set too tight to the rev limiter to stop spraying in the event of a free rev, so I sprayed into the limiter and blew the throttle body off the intake manifold. That caused the car to try to go for the rev limiter with my foot off the gas. It felt wrong once in gear so I threw it into neutral and saw it free rev out of control and I grabbed the key as fast as I could and then immediately reached down and turned off the nitrous. All within about 2 seconds while traveling 120mph. I guess all the racing and dyno time Iโ€™ve done really made this reaction become second nature and helped me keep my head about me in this situation.   • Today marks 2 years with the Z! ๐Ÿค“ Definitely have made some changes in the past 2 years in both the aesthetics and the performance departments. This isnโ€™t a car that started out stock for me, but sometimes you canโ€™t turn down a chance to get into something for more reasonable than if you were to do it yourself, especially if you plan to do all the work to get a stock car to that level anyways! And of course I added my own touches, making 150whp more than when I got it and getting it to look exactly how I want it to.
