  • How often does it happen that you enter a place and you are infused with a shot of freshness, strictly metaphorically speaking! @fabcafe.in is one such place. The green surroundings topped with super healthy food makes for a great experience. 
I started my meal with a drink called “Glow Hydration” which is packed with ingredients like coconut water, aloe vera and chia seeds to name a few. The name itself explains what this drink does best. 
Next up is a shakarkandi(sweet potato) and tarbooj salad. Honestly I was very sceptical about the marriage of such flavours but this dish surprised me. Highly recommend this one. 
I wouldn’t call myself a big fan of momos but the chicken momos here aren’t made of white flour but healthy jackfruit flour and root starches. So eat them guilt-free! 
My favourite dish here has to be the Galouti Kebabs on Mini Kuttu Bread. They are so good that I cry tears of joy. They melt in the mouth. Do not miss it. I repeat, do not miss it!

Lastly I tried the Dhansak with a Six Grain Paratha; if you swipe left, you will find a video which talks about my experience of the same. 
I also happened to try the Coconut Caramel Ice-cream. Sorry couldn’t take a picture as it was polished off before I could. 🤣

Day fifty
I’m a bit disappointed with myself over the last 2 days I binged way to much.
I could and should have been stronger, I think I set myself up to fail I just went in with out a plan and expected myself to binge and that’s exactly what I did.

This week I’m going to try really hard, I hate the way binging makes me feel. Nothing good comes from it especially when it’s followed by purging.

Despite the past two days though I have been doing so well with eating, it’s not a set back it’s just a lesson to learn from.

Started the day with penut butter and choc chip pancakes and then went to the gym for a workout.
It’s the start of the summer holidays which would usually mean all routine goes out the window because I’m not sure of what hours I’m working day to day, but I got up and went and feel better for it.
I weighed myself today and I’ve lost 2lb which isn’t a good thing because it’s probably just because of purging. Body feels a bit sluggish, throat hurts and heads foggy. Going to drink lots of water to rehydrate.

Super easy and ready to go receipe..🤩🤩 Do try this recipe👇 at home.... Recipe🥞

Ingredients👇 👉 Maida ( All purpose flour ) 1/2 cup
👉 1/4 cup milk
👉 1 Banana
👉 1 tsp baking powder
👉 3 tsp powdered sugar
👉 pinch of salt
👉 1tsp vanilla essence
👉 1/4 cup butter

Method 👇

1👉 Seive all the dry ingredients in a bowl ( maida , baking powder , salt , Sugar )

2👉 Take a separate bowl, add egg and Beat it with a electric blender , until it turn fluffy and thick.

3👉 Add vanilla essence and Sugar and again Beat it for few seconds. Add butter and Mix it well.

4👉 Mash the banana with a fork and Mix it in with a mixture of egg and whisk it well.

5👉 Now, add the dry ingredients mixture with egg & banana mixture in 3 portions.

6👉 Mix until the batter turn smooth and lumps are gone. 
7👉 Take a non stick Flat pan. Heat it on slow flame , add butter and Pour or scoop the batter and cover it with a lid.

8👉 Let it cook for few minutes, until it turns golden brown and bubble appears on the top. Now, flip the pancakes and Let it cook for few seconds.

9👉 Serve hot with Nutella or Chocolate spread or honey or as you like.

Note : The batter should be smooth and lump free. Don't Mix egg and banana mixture and Dry Ingredients in one go. Mix it in three portions. 🥞

DUMPLINGS. 🥟 wok show is my go-to place when I feel like eating my weight in dumplings (jiaozi to be specific) and it has yet to disappoint! Pictured here are my favourite dumplings: the #1 (€12.5 for 20) with pork, shrimp, egg and chives 🦐 we also got the #9 with pork and cabbage (€10 for 20) which were also good but couldn’t knock my favourite of its top spot 👑 the service still isn’t the best and the jiaozi are a bit too thick and can get a bit samey (the flavours kind of all blend together), but all-in-all it’s still a great place for a boatload of delicious dumplings at amazing prices✨

8 oz  shredded sharp cheddar cheese⠀
8 oz  shredded parmesan cheese⠀
8 oz  american cheese, cubed⠀
12 oz  whole milk⠀
1 tablespoon  salt⠀
1 tablespoon  mustard powder⠀
½ teaspoon  cayenne pepper⠀
1 teaspoon  garlic powder⠀
1 ½ cups  all-purpose flour⠀
4 eggs, beaten⠀
1 ½ cups  panko breadcrumbs⠀
vegetable oil, for frying⠀
1 ½ lb  ground beef, formed into hamburger patties⠀
salt, to taste⠀
pepper, to taste⠀
red onion, sliced, to serve⠀
tomato, sliced, to serve⠀
⠀
Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain the macaroni in a colander and return to the pot.⠀
Add butter, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, American cheese, milk, salt, mustard powder, cayenne to the pot. Turn heat up to medium-low and stir until cheeses are melted and all ingredients are well combined.⠀
Remove the pot from the heat and pour onto a parchment paper-lined sheet tray. Spread evenly with a spatula, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.⠀
Once cooled, use a ring mold or rounded container roughly 4-inches (10 cm) in diameter to cut out 6-8 “buns.”⠀
Place flour, eggs, and bread crumbs in three separate bowls.⠀
Dip each macaroni bun in flour, then egg, and finally bread crumbs, coating evenly.⠀
Preheat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).⠀
Place the macaroni buns gently in oil and fry 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towel-lined plate.⠀
Season hamburger patties liberally with salt and pepper. In a cast-iron skillet over high heat, sear patties to desired doneness, flipping halfway through.⠀
Place burger between two mac and cheese buns and top with sliced onions and tomatoes.⠀

1 tbsp lemon juice⠀
1 tbsp Worcester sauce⠀

Warm the cream cheese in the microwave to make it a little looser and easier to work with. Add the chicken, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic and seasoning and fold everything together.⠀
Line a 23cm square baking tray and spread the mixture evenly into it, then freeze until solid (roughly 3-4 hours).⠀
While the mix is freezing whisk together all the ingredients for the ranch dressing and set aside.⠀
Cut the slab of frozen chicken - cheese goodness into strips, then (working fairly quickly) dip them in the flour, egg mix, seasoned breadcrumbs and back again into the egg mix and breadcrumbs.⠀
Fry in batches in a large, stable pot of oil at around 170°C until they are crisp and brown. Serve with the ranch dressing.⠀

2 lb - Beef sirloin⠀
¼ cup - Caribeque A.P. Rub⠀
1 tbsp - Breadcrumbs⠀
1 Egg⠀
4 Slices of Swiss cheese⠀
12 Jumbo shrimp (8-12)⠀
Burger buns⠀
1 cup - Rocket⠀
Aïoli Mayo⠀
⅔ cup - Mayonnaise⠀
1 tbsp - Whole grain mustard⠀
1 Clove garlic, crushed⠀
1 tsp - Oregano⠀
½ tsp - Salt⠀
The juice from half a lemon⠀
⠀
Preheat your grill for direct grilling over medium heat;⠀
Mix all of the Aïoli Mayo ingredients together and set aside in the refrigerator;⠀
With a sharp Chef’s Knife, cut the beef sirloin into thin slabs, slice the slabs into thin spaghetti like strips, then turn 90 degrees and cut into 1/8 to 1/4 long pieces; You can also use a meat grinder if you have one;⠀
Mix the ground sirloin with 2 tbsp of Caribeque A.P. Rub, 1 tbsp of breadcrumbs and 1 egg. Form 4 to 5 equal patties of about 1 inch thick;⠀
Thread the shrimp onto flat shaped skewers and rub each side with the A.P. rub;⠀
Place the shrimp and burgers on the hot grate and grill for 4 minutes per side; Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each beef patties for the last 30 seconds; You can let the burgers cook a little longer if you prefer them well done;⠀
Assemble the burgers with toasted buns,  a spoonful of Aïoli Mayo, rocket salad, three grilled shrimp and a grilled beef patty; Serve and enjoy.⠀

    The juice from half a lemon⠀

    Preheat your grill for direct grilling over medium heat;⠀
    Mix all of the Aïoli Mayo ingredients together and set aside in the refrigerator;⠀
    With a sharp Chef’s Knife, cut the beef sirloin into thin slabs, slice the slabs into thin spaghetti like strips, then turn 90 degrees and cut into 1/8 to 1/4 long pieces; You can also use a meat grinder if you have one;⠀
    Mix the ground sirloin with 2 tbsp of Caribeque A.P. Rub, 1 tbsp of breadcrumbs and 1 egg. Form 4 to 5 equal patties of about 1 inch thick;⠀
    Thread the shrimp onto flat shaped skewers and rub each side with the A.P. rub;⠀
    Place the shrimp and burgers on the hot grate and grill for 4 minutes per side; Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each beef patties for the last 30 seconds; You can let the burgers cook a little longer if you prefer them well done;⠀
    Assemble the burgers with toasted buns, a spoonful of Aïoli Mayo, rocket salad, three grilled shrimp and a grilled beef patty; Serve and enjoy.⠀
