Get ready to indulge in our triple layers of matcha made in heaven Panna Cotta, a heavenly dessert that is dedicated to my time spend in Kyoto. Using premium matcha green tea powder that I’ve carefully selected in Japan and top with a cute little edible flower from my lovely friend @all_things_elegant_beautiful

When I think of Matcha (Green Tea), I think back to the day I visited Kennin-ji Temple in Kyoto and The feeling I had of being surrounded by the history and the culture in one of Kyoto’s most important Zen temples.

After the visit I’ve never felt so calm before while sipping on my warm cup of green tea and so I told myself that once I get back to Sydney I would create a dessert that would have reflected my experience at the temple.

  • [190715 brunch] Edible Garden - vanilla pannacotta and seasonal fruits with Oreo soil and chocolate pebbles 🌻🌷@bryanzhu_au was not tremendously impressed, but gotta say that it's one of the prettiest desserts I've had! Layered with Oreo crumbs over the top, the pannacotta underneath was light, soft and jelly-like, and then there's strawberries, blueberries (massive ones!) and dragonfruit at the bottom!

We had the gluten free vegan bowl with the most delicious beetroot relish and crispy kale, as well as the tortilla omelette with mushrooms, sweet corn, jalapenos and gluten free bread! Definitely worth a visit to this amazing cafe foodies! #courtyarddiningespresso
