  • What’s your favorite salad combo? I personally love having some sort of fresh fruit in mine, especially as the weather starts warming up☀️. This salad is super simple to put together and you can pair it with @primalkitchenfoods lemon turmeric dressing.
_
What’s in my bowl
Supergreens
Pan fried shrimp (seasoned with @primalpalate meat and potato seasoning + avocado oil. Cooked a couple minutes each side)
Sliced blood oranges
Red onions
Avocado

  • One of my favorite post-gym dinners! Who loves tacos?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I cook ground turkey with Frank’s Red Hot and a bit of lemon juice. I then add the turkey to a lettuce cup and brown rice. Finish it off with avocado, bell peppers, & any other veggies you might like! If you’re feeling fancy maybe top it off with some low fat cheese 😍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You don’t have to sacrifice taste in order to be healthier🤪

  • If you ever find yourself hungry & without your meal prep, Chipotle is an excellent choice to maintain your calorie deficit. But if you go crazy with a burrito, cheese, and all that yummy fattening stuff, odds are you won’t end up with the healthiest bowl! On their website, you can add up the macros of your options & see exactly what you’re taking in.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or, if you’re a Chipotle fanatic but don’t wanna go overboard with your spending, cooking the same meal at home is healthier & cost effective!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chipotle is really just a salad base, with some rice, protein, and a mix of veggies! Super easy to make & always delicious.

  • OATs & FRIDAY~~what a pair you are; both of you make me ESTATIC & GIVE me energy 💥
.

Do you remember 🤔 the time when you wanted to do a makeover to your diet, or try to lose weight, or just eat better to feel better? We have all been there at one time or another, and for some, many times. When my clients work with me, many of them want to change what they are eating for BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER, & snacks..... you name it they want to change it! that’s all very exciting but realistically I have to pull my clients in, and talk about small, realistic SMART GOALS. What we have been eating for years can’t be changed over night or all at the time time, that’s not the way we work. So with my clients, we start small. We set simple, small goals & progress happens over time. Small changes add up & will lead to lasting results and that’s what we are trying to do here!
.
.

9/10 of my clients skip breakfast because AMs are busy, rushing to work or carpooling kids. I know, I have 2 teens & mornings are a mad house! It’s super convenient to grab a sweet ☕️ and call that breakfast or a 🍩 donut but the sugar crash comes soon after 😩. To keep it down to earth, realistic, doable for my clients, I always recommend overnight oats for several reasons.
Here they are 👇👇👇
.
.
1. FAST GRAB & GO BREAKFAST.
2. Sustainable ENERGY. 🧠
3. Can be #MEALPREPPED for the entire week.
4. Lots of FIBER, PROTEIN, VITAMINS, MINERALS.
5. Can SPRUCE it up with fruits, nuts, seeds, more protein.
6. LOW COST 💴
7. DELICIOUS 🤤
.
.
Let me know if you want me to do a story on “how to make overnight oats”‼️
.
.
And I HOPE your FRIDAY is the 💣!!

  • “Soo I’m watching the food addiction video and it really just makes me mad. The shit that is in these processed foods and how they formulate it on purpose to be addicting and cause dopamine so you can’t stop eating it is just infuriating!! Talk about a money making scheme in all aspects. Think of how much money they make off all that bc we are all running around addicted to processed foods and sugar!” -my girl JM! Just started her journey yesterday, and already catching on quick!
............ My light bulb moment was when this girl started eating table food. And i realized i was selfishly making bad choices FOR her. I was an exhausted, full time working mama who usually just wanted whatever was quickest and easiest to eat. GUT WRENCHING. Giving into these companies having a negative impact on my kid. .
Now, am i perfect? No. Does my kid still eat Mac n cheese, PB&J, chik-Fil-a, fruit snacks.. YES. Let’s be realistic here. But! The majority of the time now, I’m doing my best to set a good example and make conscious effort to feed her well. Bc i want what’s best for her! And i want her to start healthy habits now, when i still have an influence on it! .
This is more than just helping a single person.. it’s helping FAMILIES. It starts with you mama! It’s a lot of responsibility, i get it. .
But THEY are worth it.

COLLEGE MEAL PREP 🤓💫
the summer before my first semester, i was convinced i’d be the king of finessing my way through self-made meals at school. but lack of planning led me to fall short of my goals. biiiiiig fail. spring break was kind of a much needed wake up call for me, and you bet we’re getting back to fueling my body with what i love 🤩 and now i can share with you some of my favorite foods for dorm room cooking!
.
• boiled eggs - water boilers are pretty cheap, and i definitely recommend investing in one! i can boil half a dozen eggs at a time and keep them in my fridge for snacking or meals!
.
• smoothies - this one also requires “equipment” (aka, blender) but is so worth it in the long run! stocking up on fruits from the dining hall is easy and smoothies are a great way to shove a lot of health into a condensed snack or meal. i use a @thenutribullet and rely on @nuzest_usa protein powder like its breathing air. healthfullysam gets ya $$ off!
.
• overnight oats - super easy and doesn’t break the bank. i make mine in mason jars and love taking it to class early in the morning!
.
• sweet potatoes - i now have a reputation as the potato girl, but i’m really not mad. use your community oven to bake some taters for lunch or yogurt bowls or midnight snacking
.
• chia + flax seeds - these are essentials in my dorm as well as my kitchen at home. whether in oats or smoothies or sprinkled on pb banana rice cakes, i put these on literally everything.
.
• hummus + carrots and greek yogurt - just buy a hell lot of it and thank me later
.
working my way through different meals despite being so late in the semester! better than never. pretty sure this combo will be on repeat: boiled eggs, baked japanese sweet potato, and avocado sprinkled with @traderjoes everything seasoning over a bed of spinach 🌱🤗✨
