  • What fantastic fun is the Yucatan Train Museum! We spent 2 glorious hours climbing ladders, exploring engine rooms and passenger cars, turning wheels, pulling levers, twisting knobs,  pushing buttons and ringing bells. .
.
I'm guessing it is stifling during the summer months, with it's minimal shade, but when the weather is mild, I highly recommend taking your kids to this interactive wonderland of old trains from different eras. There is enough historical background and information to entertain the grownups too. Check out my stories for more shots from our fun day today!

  • It's Sunday, it's rainy so what better way to pass the time than a random caption competition courtesy of a trip to the British Museum.
Your mission (whether you choose to accept it or not) is to match my hilarious caption to each of the 9 photos. That said there is no 🏆. Here we go:

1) mankini ✅, top hat ✅, wings ✅ now I'm ready for the 🏖 
2) play it 😎, no one will notice that you've had your teeth done

  • Are you self sabotaging yourself without even knowing it? This happens often - even I can be guilty of it sometimes. Messing things up once and then thinking “well I’ve already messed up today, might as well start again tomorrow”

A lot of people do this with dieting or the gym, which is what I’m here to try and help out with ⬇️

You ever cheat on your diet and then think “well I’ve already eaten bad today - why not go all out and start my diet back tomorrow.” OR skip on your workout for the day, say you’re going to go tomorrow, but instead get down on yourself and don’t go back for weeks on end?
.
We are all human. We all make mistakes. Anyone who says they don’t is lying. Just because you mess up one meal or miss one workout — doesn’t mean you can’t get right back to it.
.
Things to keep in mind are that this is a lifestyle change, meaning things are going to pop up. Family issues, meetings, anniversaries, birthdays, first dates, etc. You have to remember that and keep in mind it’s going to happen, that way when it does, you dont self sabotage yourself and ruin all the progress you have made, or stop yourself from reaching your full potential.

This should be fun. This should be challenging, but an exciting challenge.. one that gets you excited. Motivation will come and go, discipline is what’s going to get you the results and I can’t stress that enough.
.
Don’t skip 95% of your life trying to weigh 5% less. Unless you’re competing, dont obsess over every single gram of food you consume, and freak out if you’re not perfect everyday. Don’t let this lifestyle get into your head enough to where you dread it. Enjoy the process and see how far you can go. You’ll learn a lot about yourself during the process 🙂
