  • I love the TRX trainer to get in workouts while traveling. We are in an air bnb so there’s no hotel treadmill and I don’t run in big cities solo. So I brought the trx along and tonight I did 3 rounds of the following pairs of exercises, plus an ab burnout
1. Pistol squats and push ups
2. Jump squats and power pulls
3. Dynamic lateral lunge and tricep dips
Abs: plank press, side crunches, assisted crunches, plank crunches and side plank holds.

  • I like to keep things happy, but for 37 years. I wondered if I looked like him....I wondered if he knew who I was....for 37 years I wondered why he didn't want me....what could an unborn child or her mother have done so wrong to make a man leave and never look back. It's been nearly 2 months and I'm still trying to figure out how to grieve a father I never met. 37 christmases, 37 birthday's..27 years we lived in the same town, what if I ran into him? Would he recognize me? Does he know that he has a grandchild? 37 years of unanswered questions that he took to his grave. As strange as it sounds it's not as sad as it is final for me. I chose to omit my name from the obituary and I've made peace with my decision to never reach out to a man who never made an effort. #singlemom #strongwomen #raisedwithoutadad #finaldestination #betweenhimandgod #💔

  • These two weeks and especially this week has been beyond draining. I’ve been sitting at my desk for 12-15 hours a day trying to absorb as much material as I possibly can. They’re not kidding when they say “med school is like drinking out of a fire house” IT SURE IS. I am truly struggling.😫 but in exactly 14 hours, I will be DONE with this exam. Very much looking forward to it being over 🥴

  • HOW I GOT THE GAINS
my top tips ⬇️ 2016 to today (2019) in these photos
if ya haven’t heard it enough, it takes time and consistency. No one saw a great physique be built in a week, a few months, even a year.

1. stick to the basics- barbell and dumbbell curls, hammer curls, rope curls, and occasionally crab curls for a burn out of biceps. for triceps: rope pushdowns, skull crushers, and overhead DB press. i don’t do anything crazy and neither should you
2. what has worked for me is chasing weight while KEEPING form correct. i started with the 5s. yes the FIVE pound weights. now i curl 25s for reps. strength will come.
3. a FULL stretch of the arm, not a 90 degree angle lol. NO swinging around weight that’s too much for us. we aren’t at a disco, this is bodybuilding lol
4. EAT. this is with any muscle group obvi (all of these tips are tbh) you have to be feeding your muscle growth. sure lines are gonna fade but you will see significant progress once you cut down again.
5. be patient. trust the process
what’s a body part you’re waiting impatiently to grow?? 😅 these arms have taken A WHILE
