Soll heißen - mehr trainieren, damit man in 'echten' Situationen fitter ist. Bei mir zum Beispiel im LARP. Gerade wenn man den ganzen Tag rumrennt , in Schlachten kämpft und beim Auf und Abbau des Zeltplatzes schwer schleppen muss.
.
Krafttraining und auch Cardio können einem den Alltag oder Extremsituationen erleichtern. Mehr Kraft, mehr Ausdauer. Ein besseres Korpergefühl. Mehr Selbstbewusstsein.
Genau dafür mache ich das - um mich in meinem Körper wohl zu fühlen und um stärker zu werden.

Gerade wegen meinem Körper und meiner Schwäche war ich immer oft unsicher. Langsam wird es besser - ich merke eben einfach, dass ich mich schon enorm entwickelt habe, auch wenn ich vielleicht mit anderen immer noch nicht so mithalten kann. Im Vergleich zu meinem alten Ich bin ich verdammt weit gekommen. Und darauf bin ich schon stolz.
Jetzt muss nur noch der Rest klappen. 😂😅

This man joins every workout where possible, this man will take on any challenge thrown at him. This man has had a big impact on who who I am today. I don’t many dads who joins their daughter’s strength class and absolutely smashes it do you? Without him I would never have the mental and physical strength I have today.
What an inspo he is — my hero!!
I truly believe that it is those who we surround ourselves with that will always have the biggest impact. Surround yourself with people who  always push you to be your absolute best. Those who believe in you and your capabilities. AND especially those who have a beer waiting for you at the end of the London marathon 💪🏼 You really can’t do epic shit with basic people!  Love you Daddy! 😍 #fathersday #myhero #teamholmes

had a super quick but incredible workout this morning, I was in desperate need of getting my sweat on after not feeling 100% the past few days! Remember to always do what’s best for you and your body, sometimes it’s not always wise to push through🤷‍♀️

I’m looking forward to the week ahead, might drop my cals ever so slightly this week and see how I get on, this “cut” is so relaxed and I’m not that person that you will see being super strict and disciplined on myself bc personally I don’t enjoy that! Don’t ever do something bc someone else is, do things that you ENJOY🤪

On another note, I t’s my birthday in 6 days (write it down now) and I honestly have no idea what to do and am so in denial about turning 22🤣

4 days into summer, and i’m still craving the same bowl...ON REPEAT! 🔁 i’ve been waking up early everyday to workout, then coming home to fuel with one of my go-to nourish bowls❣️i’m always trying to add vegetables in every meal, and salads are the easiest way for me. it’s all about what works for you!

in the bowl —> arugula, asian coleslaw, cucumber, black beans, topped with olive oil & Trader Joes EBTB seasoning (classic)

such a great combo for a post-workout meal. it’s light, nutritious, and refreshing—perfect meal for this summer heat!☀️ #tastebyhay

Eigentlich wollte Flow Pancakes....eigentlich. Er war mit dem Schmarrn aber sehr zufrieden 😬😂 super fluffig ist er geworden. Mein Erster, hab das vorher noch nie gemacht😊 Und durch den Tip, es langsam mit der Wärme angehen zu lassen bei @my_daily_ww_life 🙋‍♀️ hat weder der Schmarrn noch meine gusseiserne Pfanne gelitten🤪 Bei dem Rezept werden wir sicherlich Wiederholungstäter...❤️ 🤣

Actually, Flow wanted Pancakes .... actually. He was very pleased with the Schmarrn 😬😂 super fluffy. My first time, have never done that before ... And by the tip to let it take on the heat slowly @my_daily_ww_life 🙋has neither the Schmarrn still suffered my cast iron pan🤪 With the recipe, we will certainly repeat offenders ... ❤️ 🤣

I know I do when it comes to @pentaelsternwick 🙋🏼‍♀️ no joke this Field of greens bowl is my all time fave (I would eat it daily if I could)! It may look like just a plate of greens to you, but trust me when I say no greens have ever tasted as good 😍. Perfectly balanced on a bed of hummus & with a good amount of chillis, what more would a girl need?

  • #Chestday 💪🏼🔥 Was sind eigentlich eure liebsten Brustübungen? Bzw. trainiert ihr überhaupt Brust? 🤔

Ich habe anfangs gar kein Brusttraining gemacht, da ich dachte, ich brauch es nicht, weil ich ja eine Frau bin. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Hier mal ein paar Vorteile, warum auch wir Frauen den Chestday lieben sollten:
1. Mit dem Alter verliert unsere Haut an Elastizität, irgendwann siegt die Schwerkraft und die Brust beginnt zu hängen. Durch eine trainierte Brustmuskulatur können wir unser Gewebe straffen und die Brust stabilisieren.
2. Nicht nur Rückentraining sorgt für eine gute Körperhaltung. Es sollte immer der ganze Rumpf trainiert werden, dazu gehört auch die Brust. Ist der Rücken „zu schwer“ schafft es die Brustmuskulatur nicht mehr dagegen zu halten und man bewirkt das Gegenteil einer aufrechten Haltung.
3. Durch Brusttraining KANN das Brustvolumen zum Teil auch vergrößert werden. Voraussetzung ist natürlich auch eine ausgewogene Ernährung sowie unsere Gene.
