It all began 10years with us opening a tearoom with just £100 in our pocket and a lot of love.
Fast forward 10 years & a multi-award winning tearoom later, we now have our new adventure, a tea line dedicated to women; Wild Women Tea club.
Why? 
Over the years, we have climbed, jumped and fallen over every hurdle that's been thrown our way.
We have been through the pregnancy thing, the loss thing, the labour thing, the harsh reality that motherhood brings, the loneliness, the hormonal craziness that comes throughout, the mood swings, the sleepless nights.....
BUT we have survived and come out the other side smiling! It's not all been bad, we have also had A LOT OF FUN along the way too! 🌸 
In short, we want to get women talking again. 
Lets make talking about our lady bits and all things related, less taboo? Afterall our hormones can take over our body & our mind, but it doesn't need to be a nightmare. 
As women, we tend to take on too much, things can get a bit overwhelming and we can spend much of this time feeling… out of balance.

  • The benefits of ashwagandha. The calm adaptogen. 
Is an ancient medical herb, knowing as adaptogen. 
In ayuverda medicine is one of the roots (that can be found in health stores as powder) suggest to people that have so much energy. 
It is good for those that can be keen to depression, sleep suffering, anxiety, restless, angry and need to be calm down a bit. 
It’s good for those that in the energy of Vata regarding to ayuverda medicine, should consume this root/powder in their smoothie, tea or in their plant milk. .........................
It is recommended for those that suffer from thyroid glands, when is low, ashwagandha it increase and when is up ashwagandha it lows. Ashwagandha appears to stimulate your endocrine system, boosting thyroid hormone levels by reducing cortisol. ............................ It always maintain the flow and the equilibrium or the homeostasis in good level. .................. I have found that the best taste is mixing it with a bit of cinnamon powder or cinnamon stick. ............. As adaptogens, is good to be use before bed but during the day as well. 
It promotes sleep and it can be used during stressful period. 
But as an adaptogen should be used for up to 8 weeks not more. ..................... Make sure to put no more than one and half tea spoon of ashwagandha, do not boil it as it has a bitter taste. Just warm the milk and in the cup place the cinnamon and the ashwagandha. 
Mix together and drink it during your work hours. ..................... Ashwagandha it increases fertility and boots testosterone in men. 
It’s rich in antioxidants and helps to stabilise the blood sugar levels.

  • Die Anzeichen und Symptome von Stress sind extrem vielfältig. #Gedankenkreisen, Ein- und Durchschlafprobleme, Gereiztheit, Tinnitus, Verspannungen, #Kopfschmerzen, Verdauungsbeschwerden, Magenschmerzen, Erschöpfung, Unruhe, #Überessen und #Heißhungeranfälle, Rückenschmerzen, Schweißausbrüche, Antriebslosigkeit usw. sind alles Anzeichen einer hohen, meist emotionalen, #Stressbelastung.⁠

Stress ist insgesamt ein riesiges Paket an Zusammenhängen. Die Auslöser und Ursachen sowie das #Stressempfinden sind sehr individuell und bei jedem einzelnen so verworren mit den eigenen inneren Themen, die zum Stressempfinden führen, das man sich quasi vorstellen kann, dass jeder sein eigenes Stress-Wollknäuel mit sich herum trägt. Deshalb funktionieren die häufig gehörten und empfohlenen  nullachtfünfzehn Tipps  nicht und vor allem nicht bei jedem. Leider können wir nicht einfach eine Schere nehmen und das Wollknäuel durchschneiden. Wir müssen uns das Ende des Fadens schnappen und schauen wohin er uns führt. Während wir das machen, werden neue Knötchen auftauchen, die wir uns ebenfalls genauer anschauen müssen, um einen Weg zu finden sie zu glätten und wir werden dabei immer mehr verstehen, wie es zu den Knoten gekommen ist. Und wir können daraus lernen, um möglichst keine neuen Knoten mehr zu produzieren.⁠

Dieses Beispiel war jetzt sehr anschaulich und vielleicht ist noch nicht ganz klar geworden was ich damit meine. Dazu erfährst Du in meinem #Blogbeitrag mehr. Die Verworrenheit des Problems #Stress, was ich damit aufzeigen will, ist aber eben der Grund warum die meisten Betroffenen in unserem Gesundheitssystem nicht optimal aufgehoben sind und zum Teil viele Misserfolge oder nur kurzfristige Erfolge bei der #Stressbewältigung erleben, weil leider keiner die Zeit hat sich mal mit dem ganzen Menschen zu beschäftigen.⁠

It is really hard to give up foods or drinks you love and enjoy. It’s bad enough having migraines, now you have to be more unhappy and pass on that glass of wine with friends. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I remember going through months of deprivation followed by months of indulging. I wasn’t happy either time. When I was eating the chocolate and drinking the wine, at the moment I was happy, but later I would be so afraid I’d get a migraine and I usually got one.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
--⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then when I wasn't eating the chocolate and drinking the wine, I was mad I couldn’t have them. I felt cheated. If I had to have migraines, I should be able to treat myself and do what I wanted when I felt ok.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
--⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It took a long time for me to realize my victim mentality was what was holding me back. Yes, I did need to cut chocolate and wine out of my food plan for a while, but I needed to do it when I was ready to work on the rest of my migraine challenges, not just one little part of a whole big picture. The starting and stopping of two items wasn’t going to solve my migraine symptoms.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
--⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I needed to shift from feeling like I had no control over my headaches, to the realization that I actually had all of the control. Once that sunk in and I started doing the work necessary to make real change, I began to see a drastic reduction in the quantity and severity of migraines.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
--⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am happy to say I can now enjoy chocolate and wine and do so when I know it’s a smart idea for me. On days I know it may be one too many triggers for my head to handle, I pass and I’m okay with that. No longer a victim, I am happily in control of my health and my “treats”.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How to avoid the trap of Decisiveness Fatigue?

As #leaders, we must learn to only make decisions on important matters. Not on everything. create a strong structure, so smaller matters are resolved by your structures. We do this by creating rituals and positive habits. .

Once the structure is in play to take care of the small things, we must know our values and vision. If matters appear that do not meet our values or vision - the decision is simple -  Say No or ignore. .

  • Een tekort aan slaap? Dat kan 'killing' zijn. Klinkt dramatisch? Dat klopt, maar wist je dat goed en voldoende slapen ècht belangrijk is? Waar ik vroeger dacht dat ik na een nachtje slecht slapen 'ká-pot' was, weet ik nu wel beter.
Stress en piekeren zorgt voor een slechte nachtrust. En wat dacht je van de eerste periode (bij mij een jaar) na de bevalling? Dat waren met recht ontzettend slechte slaapperiodes. En helaas zit ik momenteel ook weer in een fase van slechter slapen.

De quoi as tu plus peur ? De toujours faire la même chose ou de prendre les devants et de changer ?
La peur ne doit pas guider tes choix ! C'est ce sentiment d'accomplissement et de réussite qui doit te motiver 🙏
Changer c'est évoluer, et oui l'évolution comporte des risques :) mais stagner ne te fera pas avancer au contraire ! En étant spectateur de ta vie, les regrets et la frustration gagnent du terrain. Ne laisse pas ces sentiments te ronger et affecter ta santé (physique et morale).
Ce n'est pas ta peur qui décide c'est TOI qui décide dans quelle direction tu veux aller.
Alors ose et avance 🤜🤛

I’m not a competitive athlete anymore; I can’t spentd 10 hours sleeping a night to recover & I don’t want to be eating almost 3,000 calories a day like I was to help regulate cortisol & hormones.

Stress is stress.

The body can’t tell the difference between the stress you’re feeling sitting in traffic or the stress you feel as the clock counts down 3-2-1.

Stress is what you feel when your baby is screaming behind you in their car seat & stress is you trying to PR your snatch.

Stress is managing your employees, your teams, your marriage, your kids & stress is also those max effort assault bike sprints you just did.

Stress is dieting (not giving your body the calories it wants because you’re trying to lose fat) & stress is that pukey-feeling after the WOD.

Stress is the poor night of sleep you got & stress is heavy “Grace” your gym will program that you know you’re too tired for, but must Rx because LeAdErBoArdS.

Stress is the fight you just had with your spouse, & stress is the tightness in your back that you’re ignoring when you decide to “go for it” in the workout.

Stress is emotional, physical, & mental.

Some of us are better adapted to deal with stress, but most of us are simply ignoring it.

With exercise, we believe the HARDER the BETTER, right?!No.

Signs you may be overloaded:

You’re always sore & achey.
You need coffee/pre-workout.
You’re irritable, grouchy, lethargic.
You’re hungry.
You’re injured - again.
You’re frequently sick.
You don’t sleep well, or you wake up to pee frequently (signs of elevated cortisol) or you wake up still exhausted.
You lack any drive for sex.

A lot of us can’t quit our jobs, leave our kids, move to Bali & unwind on the beach between training sessions. But for regular high-intensity exercise, THAT is the kind of recovery that’s needed for most people; or else, we risk becoming a stress shit storm.

Exercise doesn’t need to leave you gasping on the floor for breath to be effective - & too much of that, can be detrimental 👏🏼 to your goals.

  • Why is it so hard to make good decisions when you’re stressed? And why does it feel like the whole world comes crashing down on you?

These two scenarios are characteristics of feeling stressed. Everyone who doesn’t know how to control stress experiences these things.
.
The reason why this happens is because where attention goes, energy flows. Blood flow to the logical part of your brain (the prefrontal cortex) during stressful times actually decreases by up to 70%!! This blood flow is going to the emotional parts of your brain which serve two purposes:
.
1) Makes you emotional, or more driven to react. Blood flow is a good indicator of neural activity. Higher blood flow to emotional parts of the brain means you are feeling more emotional. .
2) Poor decision making skills. Since blood flow decreases in the logical/conscious part of the brain during stress, it is more challenging to make effective decisions. This is why we sometimes can act irrationally when we’re under high pressure or stress.

Another interesting fact about stress and the brain is that it can affect what is called the Insula. There is a lot of debate about what the Insula does, but it is believed to impact empathy and emotional awareness. During stress, we have poorer emotional awareness, which allows our emotions to spiral out of control sometimes, and also stress makes us less empathetic. In essence, we block ourselves off and enter survival mode. It’s every man for themselves when you’re stressed and that means being less compassionate, more selfish, and experiencing distorted perceptions of reality.

There are ways to manage stress. They all involve distancing yourself from stressful situations to change your attention and return to a baseline level. You may still feel stressed, but you’ll at least have a clearer mind. Some of these techniques involve taking deep breaths, changing your environment, going for a walk, or simply reflecting on it later once you’re not in the high stress situation. .

In letzter Zeit gab es viele Up's and Down's aber die erste Hürde hab ich hinter mir 🙌🏼 jetzt folgen noch viele weitere aber mal sehen wie das wird ✨ Auch ein bisschen Urlaub war dabei, dazu kommen jetzt noch Fotos! Vor ein paar Tagen war ich auch in München unterwegs! Das war leider mehr wandern (viel zu anstrengend) als Urlaub😩!
