  • Vรคlkommen hem till mig.

Nรคr du mรถter mig i hallen sรฅ รคr jag glad, pigg och vรคlkomnar dig. Vi gรฅr in och sรคtter oss i ett vรคlstรคdat vardagsrum dรคr barnens leksaker finns fint nerstรคdade i en lรฅda i ett skรฅp. I kรถket har jag fรถrberett mat och jag har redan dukat.

Under besรถket รคr jag energiskt och pratar mycket, precis som jag brukar vara. Vi skรคmtar, skrattar och allt รคr precis som vanligt.

Efter middagen รคr det dags fรถr gรคsterna att รฅka hem. De sรคtter sig i bilen och tรคnker; att hon orkar fixa allt sรฅ bra nรคr hon รคr sjuk. Hon verkar inte trรถtt eller sjuk. Och dom har ju alltid sรฅ fint och stรคdat. Hur hinner de med de nรคr hon รคr sjuk?

Och nu till livet bakom kulisserna.

Jag vet att jag har ett besรถk bokat och behรถver dรคrfรถr ta det lugnt hela fรถrmiddagen och ladda batterierna fรถr att klara av det som komma ska. Jag behรถver planera duschen och fixandet nรฅgon timme innan gรคsterna ska komma sรฅ jag hinner vila efter dusch och fix som tar mycket energi och dรคrfรถr krรคver en รฅterhรคmtning.

Det รคr fรถrsta gรฅngen under veckan som jag tvรคttar hรฅret och fรถrsta gรฅngen denna mรฅnaden som jag har smink pรฅ mig. Det รคr ocksรฅ fรถrsta gรฅngen pรฅ lรคnge som jag har andra klรคder pรฅ mig รคn mjukisklรคderna.

Min man stรคdar, fixar och fรถrbereder sรฅlรคnge. Sรคngarna bรคddas, vilket รคr nรฅgot som inte alltid prioriterats sedan jag blev sjuk. Vi fรถrsรถker fรถrbereda sรฅ mycket som mรถjligt fรถr att inte behรถva stressa senare.

Jag hรถr hur dรถrrklockan ringer och jag tar en djupt andetag. Jag laddar fรถr att kunna utstrรฅla glรคdje och energi, precis som vanligt.

    Nรคr du mรถter mig i hallen sรฅ รคr jag glad, pigg och vรคlkomnar dig. Vi gรฅr in och sรคtter oss i ett vรคlstรคdat vardagsrum dรคr barnens leksaker finns fint nerstรคdade i en lรฅda i ett skรฅp. I kรถket har jag fรถrberett mat och jag har redan dukat.

    Under besรถket รคr jag energiskt och pratar mycket, precis som jag brukar vara. Vi skรคmtar, skrattar och allt รคr precis som vanligt.

    Efter middagen รคr det dags fรถr gรคsterna att รฅka hem. De sรคtter sig i bilen och tรคnker; att hon orkar fixa allt sรฅ bra nรคr hon รคr sjuk. Hon verkar inte trรถtt eller sjuk. Och dom har ju alltid sรฅ fint och stรคdat. Hur hinner de med de nรคr hon รคr sjuk?

    Och nu till livet bakom kulisserna.

    Jag vet att jag har ett besรถk bokat och behรถver dรคrfรถr ta det lugnt hela fรถrmiddagen och ladda batterierna fรถr att klara av det som komma ska. Jag behรถver planera duschen och fixandet nรฅgon timme innan gรคsterna ska komma sรฅ jag hinner vila efter dusch och fix som tar mycket energi och dรคrfรถr krรคver en รฅterhรคmtning.

    Det รคr fรถrsta gรฅngen under veckan som jag tvรคttar hรฅret och fรถrsta gรฅngen denna mรฅnaden som jag har smink pรฅ mig. Det รคr ocksรฅ fรถrsta gรฅngen pรฅ lรคnge som jag har andra klรคder pรฅ mig รคn mjukisklรคderna.

    Min man stรคdar, fixar och fรถrbereder sรฅlรคnge. Sรคngarna bรคddas, vilket รคr nรฅgot som inte alltid prioriterats sedan jag blev sjuk. Vi fรถrsรถker fรถrbereda sรฅ mycket som mรถjligt fรถr att inte behรถva stressa senare.

    Jag hรถr hur dรถrrklockan ringer och jag tar en djupt andetag. Jag laddar fรถr att kunna utstrรฅla glรคdje och energi, precis som vanligt.

  • People donโ€™t talk about stress and the role it plays in someoneโ€™s personal hell. Hereโ€™s some facts: - increase risk for mental health issues
- insomnia - poor immune system
- diabetes

The list goes on. One of the only things Iโ€™ve been talented at is handling stress. This is how I do, I hope it helps you:

1. Gratitude for everything. Never afraid to look stupid or fail bc end of the day, Iโ€™m just happy to be here (thatโ€™s real, not BS to sound cute)
2. Exercise: if I can run 3 miles before work, there is no way a work related tax is goin to scare me
3. Itโ€™s all binary for me. Like I own every failure, I embrace it, I love it. I fail, I move on. I win I move on. Thereโ€™s no gray area. Itโ€™s just as simple as move on.
4. I think on a 10-15 year scale. In that case almost all stress becomes irrelevant to my marathon

  • Ser ut som jag ska in och slรฅ ihjรคl nรฅn. Men i sjรคlva verket ska jag bara slรฅ ihjรคl lite tid. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Tid som jag inte har sรคrskilt mycket av sรฅhรคr รฅrs.

Har det skapligt stressigt. Bรฅde det inre och yttre sjรคlvfรถrtroendet spelar ett skapligt ping-pong-spel. Det har varit en hel del prestations-vรฅr-sommar-kropps--รฅngest (inget mer?!) som studsat oxรฅ. Och som en boll, studsar jag ner i vassen i sommar. Och om jag mot fรถrmodan inte ligger i vassen utan springer runt runt och inte vet vad jag heter, sรฅ har jag eventuellt stressat fรถr mycket. ๐Ÿ˜‚
