Thanking the universe for a calm day today and allowing me to do some admin and some planning for the year ahead 馃檹馃徏

I will admit that I鈥檝e been so spoiled in the past with traveling the world as a singer and being able to experience that work never ever felt like work, however with my work background I鈥檝e never really ever got used to hustling for a long time, having days that are very repetitive & even days that are just Average. You know, where nothing extraordinary happens lol. Everyday I used to always have something exciting happen. I鈥檇 be exploring a new country almost every day, had a new audience each night and there were just always new things around me to keep me stimulated and excited! 鉅
I love training clients, making them feel stronger, healthier and more confident but I am Yet to really accept and embrace the realness of hard work. Those 5am alarms and 5 hours of sleep. But I鈥檓 learning! Slowly! That life isn鈥檛 and never will be a full time Instagram feed full of sandy beaches and fancy events - and the sooner we (i) accept and embrace that the sooner i鈥檒l find an increased appreciation for all the Little things in life 馃挄

Hope you鈥檙e all feeling good this week and that something has made you share a big smile today 馃グ

  • The magnolia tree in my neighbours garden is truly beautiful. I often stop to admire it over the fence when ever leaving or returning home. It sits pride of place in their front garden and at this time of year it really lifts the spirits. 馃槉

  • MINIBLOG. Yesterday i got really anxious all day. I was thinking about something that i had been procrastinating on for a long time.
In most areas of my life, i feel like i have a sense of mastery. In that one area of my life, i feel like a disaster. The simple act of writing this actually gives me that uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach.
Yesterday, i reached out to a friend and talked about it. Brene Brown, author, describes shame and guilt as the more we don't talk about it the more we have of it. When i expressed my shame and guilt, i felt better. I am lucky to have people around with which i feel comfortable sharing. I think this is a positive first step for me in dealing with my phobia as it were. Furthermore, the person i expressed this with said "me too!". I imagine i am not the only one who has feelings like this. I hope everyone has someone to express themselves openly and vulnerably with.

Much Love.

  • Tomorrow I teach my last class of the first block. Which means I have a few weeks without 6 hours of teaching to look forward to on Wednesdays.
Teaching has the strangest effect on me. I both love it for everything it brings, the interaction, the exchange of ideas, the moment you see the penny drop. But it is also very stressful at times.

I thought this completely unrelated picture looked pretty. So there. A picture of flowers that have entered my home somewhat accidentally but look lovely anyway.

  • Be thankful for the small things because I can guarantee that your small thing would be a huge thing for someone else 鉂わ笍

  • Bali didn鈥檛 even need a filter she is so cute 馃槏馃拫. Life becomes so amazing when you can appreciate the little things in life. This puppy has brought so much happiness and love into my life and also made me realise that I am actually maternal!!!! I mean jeez if I can love a puppy this much 鉂わ笍馃槏. We don鈥檛 need big things to happen to make us happy and we shouldn鈥檛 rely on them. A warm cup of coffee or the wind in our hair is enough: be grateful for every breath you don鈥檛 know how long you will have it for 馃檹馃徏馃槝 #gratitude #grateful #puppy #cockapoo #smallthings
