  • Smart4u is happy to welcome Biz Pro Ltd, at 25 Oxford St W in London, into the #Smart4uLondon family. •
•
After hearing about Smart4u’s Switch & Save promotion, owners Derek and Chris, were happy to take advantage of our guarantee to lower their monthly monitoring fees, and put some of their hard earned money back where it belongs - in their pockets! Not only were we able to lower their monthly fees, for a period of time we eliminated them altogether, thanks to Smart4u’s new customer promotion, which includes free basic equipment, free installation, activation, and free monitoring (currently for the first 4 months of service). •
•
Chances are, even though you may not have specifically heard of Biz Pro, you have visited a restaurant, bar, hotel or other quick service operation that is using software and/or equipment provided by them. •
•
Biz Pro Ltd is a reseller of the Maitre’D software program, which is one of the most feature-rich and customizable restaurant POS Systems on the market. Designed for hospitality businesses like restaurants, bars and hotels, it has over 20,000 customers worldwide, and provides everything you need to manage your business. Offering hundreds of features that you can turn on and off, it is a system that is fully tailored to your daily operations and business objectives. •
•
Biz Pro Ltd also sells and installs the Universal POS system, and carries equipment and supplies like Kilotech Scales, Casio Cash Registers, Epson Printers, as well the paper, ink rollers and ribbons needed to keep them fully operating. •
•
If you are a business owner in the hospitality industry, you may already know Derek or Chris, who have become trusted advisors, and provide innovative solutions for POS operations. If you are just starting out in hospitality, or looking to upgrade your system or equipment, give the guys at Biz Pro Ltd a call, or stop into their showroom. When you do, don’t forget to tell them you saw this on Instagram, and that Patrick and Shannon, @chubbsecurityspecialist says hi! 👋 •

  • I got me some back-up WHY’s

I think it’s so important to get clear on our purpose with everything we do. Especially with fitness, I find it helpful to have very SOLID & PERSONAL reasons for sweating. If not, I feel like I’m just doing it because I ‘should’ or ‘cause that’s what I see on insta - ya feel me? 🙄

BUT I DON’T STOP THERE! 🙀 Some days, my primary WHY (my foundational reason for working out) doesn’t cut it. Sometimes it doesn’t get me motivated, and isn’t enough of a driving force to get my butt to the gym. So, I have a short list of BACK-UP WHYs:

1) Working out is when I feel my happiest ** this is my primary WHY, but believe it or not, it doesn’t always get me going... so onto the back-ups👇🏻
_
2) I train for dance. **Thisssss is a big one and almost always gets me up and working HARD. In dance, our body is our instrument and I take this very seriously - I don’t ever want to play a rusty violin (do violins rust?... you get the point 😅)
_
3) I love myself, therefore, I want to do what is best for this body. ** Which by the way doesn’t always mean working out, but that’s a whole other conversation **
_
Anywayyyys I hope this made sense, and if it didn’t, all you need to know is that having more than ONE reason for working out can seriously help keep the motivation tank full and POWERED UP! 👊🏻

  • Learn about cannabis and walk some alpacas.

We meet at an alpaca farm near Grand Bend, Ontario. Dress for the weather because we'll be outside. No need to bring anything, snacks and beverages will be provided.

Start the afternoon with Cannabis Coach and Educator Andrea Meharg from www.revealcannabis.com as she teaches you how you can use cannabis to help manage your anxiety, depression, pain and more. You'll learn why cannabis works, what conditions it may help and how you can take it without smoking. Ask ALL your cannabis questions and get all the facts on using cannabis to increase your health and happiness.

Next, you'll experience a demonstration on how to make your own healthy cannabis oils, tinctures and edibles. Learning how to DIY not only saves you money but you also know exactly what's in your cannabis creations. No need to take notes, you'll get all the recipes to take home with you.

And to cap off the perfect day, we'll take the alpacas out on a walk through the beautiful countryside near the farm with their owner, Steph. We're sure you have questions and she has all the alpaca answers. Bring your camera, you'll want to capture the fun memories you'll make.

By the time 4 pm rolls around, you'll be relaxed, happy and excited to get going on your own canna-creations. You'll also have a great story to tell about taking an alpaca for a walk.

Details:
When: Sunday October 27, 1-4
Where: 33015 Sylvan Rd, 33015 Sylvan Rd, Parkhill, ON, N0M 2K0

  • {JADE ROLLER}
#didyouknow that they have been a staple in Chinese skincare routines since the 7th century. You can think of them as handheld mini face massagers.
They are can be made of beautiful green jade or pink quartz, and are believed to have healing and protective properties for the skin, including boosting blood circulation, reducing swelling, and allowing for deeper penetration of skincare products.
They are made out of the gorgeous jade green stone and have a rolling piece at the top with a handle. Some jade rollers have a smaller roller at the bottom of the handle too, which can be great to use on smaller areas of the face.

What are the benefits of using one?? 👇🏼 The most well-known benefits of using a jade roller include reducing inflammation and puffiness of the skin, reducing the appearance of under eye circles (especially if your roller is cold), stimulating the lymphatic system and blood circulation, brightening complexion, tightening pores, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines, and allowing skincare products to penetrate more deeply.
Aside from these benefits, We also find it a lovely way to relax and get in “bedtime mode” after your skincare routine in the evening.

We have a couple here at the salon - if you have any questions feel come in and speak with our esthetician she would be happy to help you 🖤🌿

  • I keep getting asked why I haven’t posted the mural yet. It’s because I can’t quite find the words to properly convey how I feel....⠀it’s a long one but worth it 😉
•⠀
I always say I used to do art. I used to live and breath it. I painted, and I drew.. you’d be hard pressed to find a room in my parents house without an art piece of mine on the wall. And somewhere along the way I stopped. I’d sketch here and there, but I hadn’t created anything in years. When I started pen and tonic it didn’t feel like art. It felt like creativity and writing. It felt good. But not quite art. ⠀
• ⠀
And then someone very casually asked if I’d paint a mural in her coffee shop.... when you haven’t picked up a paintbrush in nearly 12 years minus a single paint night.... ⠀hahah okay sure? 😳
• ⠀
And here I am. Overcome with feelings. Sad that it took me so long to pick up a brush. Ecstatic at this opportunity. Overcome with joy that it turned out! Thankful for the faith that was had in me. And proud, so damn proud. And finally owning the fact that I am an artist. ⠀
• ⠀
Thank you to @commonwealthcoffeeco for trusting me and believing in me, and for the coffee and the laughs and for giving me back some of the light that I didn’t know I had dimmed. And thank you to @meephotographylondon for capturing me, awkward af and proud as hell and knowing that I needed this moment captured as much (if not more more) than the mural itself! And thanks to you if you made it to the end! You da real MVP’S!⠀

  • I haven't introduced myself since January and a lot of exciting things have happened to my little online shop since then soooo...Hi! My name is Virginia 🙋 and I own Acre75.ca. Acre75 is named after the 75 acre farm I grew up on outside of Mildmay, ON, where my love of the simple, small town life was born. 🌾⠀
⠀
I always knew I would start a business 👩‍💼 but never had any idea what that business would look like. On maternity leave with my daughter in 2016, I really dug deep to figure out what type of business I would start. I wanted to use my marketing skills and I also didn't want to commute to work anymore (because when you live in a small town and you're in marketing, generally you need to commute to the city for work). So I decided I would start an online store and run it from the comfort of my own home. 🏡⠀
⠀
After I researched online stores, I discovered that most online purchases are made on foreign websites, meaning the customer has no connection to what they are buying and no idea who they are supporting with their purchase. 🙅‍♀️ This didn't sit well with me. Knowing that there were beautiful live edge vases and unique railway spike bottle openers made in and around my hometown, I decided I would start a store where 👏 every 👏single👏 item was made in a small Canadian town, just like the one I grew up in. An online store that reflects my love of the small town life and supports small town businesses annnd every item has a story. ❤️⠀
⠀
I have big dreams for Acre75.ca and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you for following along! If you ever want to reach out or have questions about how I got started, you can always send me a DM and I'd be happy to chat - it gets a little lonely running a business from your home (especially for an extroverted person like moi) so I'm always down for connecting with new people! 😊
