  • <中文👇🏼> Frog Eggs! These are a Chinese delicacy! Okay just kidding, even though we call these black little pearls frog eggs, they’re not actual eggs. 😆Much like boba, it’s usually used to dress up desserts to add some sweetness and texture 😋

It is amazing when your mindless actions inspire someone, and it feels amazing. ☺️ Thanks to myself, my mom was inspired to take this photo! 🤣🤣🤣 But no really, being able to take snap shots around this old Chinese Garden from Ming dynasty was a blast and a great bonding experience. My mom also just love plants and can look at them for days 😆 We also thought that it was interesting that this Hydrangea which is usually short, grew into such a tall tree and its flowers just hung down like lanterns 😍🌸

This local wonton spot called 千里香餛飩, which means Wonton that you can smell thousands of miles away, has been my go-to since high school 🤣 This lady making the wontons makes it so fast I had to use burst mode to catch this 🤤

This is the winner of Fish VS Duck in my IG Story 🤣 Thank you to everyone that voted! 🙏🏼 This Duck Noodle Soup really hit the spot with its ultra flavorful duck bone soup🦆 There’s a thin slice of ham to add flavor to the broth. This type of noodle soups are called 煨麵 (Wei-Mian) 🍜 which means they half cook the noodles separate from the soup, 🍲then put them right into the soup and bring to a boil before serving. The noodles absorb all the flavors so now I feel like I have no choice but to finish the entire bowl 😭

  • Dining in a restaurant in Shanghai, 🇨🇳 you scan this code on the table to see your menu, then tap on the pictures to order, place your order and pay for it on your phone. 👌🏼 Simple, easy, no space for human error. Love it.
Then maybe one day we won’t even know how to talk to people anymore 🤣

  • Shanghai Tower boasts the tallest observation deck in the world. Yes, Burj Khalifa is technically a taller building, but a lot of the Burj’s height at the very top is due to its huge antenna. Shanghai Tower also holds the world record for having the fastest elevator. It transports visitors from the bottom to the observation deck in just 55 seconds. That’s a rate of about 46 miles per hour! And the ride is so smooth, you’d never guess you just reached the 118th floor. In fact, my daughter often gets motion sick from elevators, but she felt perfectly fine sailing to the observation deck here. Click through to see the amazing view from the top! 🏙
What’s the tallest building you’ve ever been in?
