  • What's your favorite burger topping?  Burgers are a palate for so many tasty flavors and toppings. I've always got to have LOTS of cheese, definately thick sliced smoky bacon and a special sauce. .
And then there's the question of GRILLED or FLAT TOPPED? I vote for grilled.

Thank you @julietkbenj for introducing me to #rachelsgingerbeer
💛 We went here for drinks while waiting for a table at #momiji (which is a great sushi bar in #capitolhillseattle btw). The drinks we ordered at @rgbsoda were on the sweet side, but perfect for an early evening in summer. The atmosphere is gorgeous, staff are friendly, and music is upbeat and lively.

They also serve #dolewhip and have a fried chicken place inside. Fried chicken is the key to my heart, so I'll investigate further and report back soon 📋🧐 But there's one question on my mind... Are the plants hanging from the ceiling real or fake?! 🌿👀 They make the plant mom in me want to adopt a few more babies. My living room is becoming a jungle and Rachel's Ginger Beer is helping accelerate that process...

  • I’m stockpiling a bunch of these bars to have for when @hutch6114 and I are in the sleep-deprived days of newborn baby purgatory. I used blueberries instead of strawberries because that’s what I had on hand and they taste just as good! They may be titled vegan and GF cheesecake bars on my blog, but I’ve been known to call them breakfast bars too! Waaaay healthier for you than actual cheesecake and when paired with morning coffee it feels like a taste of heaven.
-Two batches in the freezer ✔️
-Still waiting on baby ✔️

  • Most of us think of orange juice and all things citrus when we reach for the Vitamin C, but SHASHITO PEPPERS are also high in Vitamin C... and they are super fun to eat. 
I like them served blistered over a grilled steak with grilled portabella mushrooms. Balsamic and soy work double duty as a soaking mixture for the portabella mushrooms and a splash is added to the Blistered shashito peppers to finish them off.

  • FLINTCREEK IS LIFE. 🤤 I’ve talked before about my love affair with @flintcreek dinner. But did you know they now serve brunch, too?! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 The menu is full of drool-worthy new dishes but also a few faithful staples from dinner including their grits. Get the grits. If you get anything, get the grits. Or shoot, get whatever you want but then order ME some grits*. 😂 This here is their venison and hazelnut pate benedict, covered in perfectly classic hollandaise, the runniest eggs, and a side of fingerlings. Each component was a rockstar separately but when you get them all together in one big forkful.. 💀🥰. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I loovvveee baking french macarons!😁 The flavors and combinations are endless. ❤ When I bake 'em, I bake either on silicone mats or use a paper templete with parchment paper over it. 👉It comes down to what shape and size I want it to come out. With meat sourced from two local farms, Beecher’s Just Jack cheese, caramelized onions with mustard mayo on a bun from Macrina Bakery - it’s the perfect Seattle exclusive burger. 🍔

I loved how kid friendly the place was and even on their website they encourage and welcome you to bring your kiddos! They also serve happy hour Moscow mules every day from 4-6 pm. 😜
