  • Three years ago from the outside it looked like I had it all together, I worked out, ate healthy, and owned my own salon…⠀

What was really going on was I was over worked, over exercising, under eating, and stressed to the max trying to do all the things. Working long days, not planning ahead so I would eat on the run or while a color was processing, and trying to make it to every kid function and volunteering too while I was add it. ⠀

I was trying to keep up with what I thought was the norm but all I knew was I needed something different! I was tired of being tired⠀

I didn’t realize that when I said yes to a 3 week challenge of an in home workout and meal plan that it was going to change so much more than my pant size!⠀

Here I am in probably the healthiest body of my life, definitely the healthiest mind, I am less stressed, my marriage is better than it has ever been, and daily I get to work on ME as my job plus connect with an incredible and supportive group of ladies doing the same. Not only do I not need to budget in the gym it has created extra income for my family plus allows me the schedule to go to the kids activities…⠀

    Three years ago from the outside it looked like I had it all together, I worked out, ate healthy, and owned my own salon…⠀

  • Back at @energiefitnessbognorregis tonight this time with my side kick @Trevburley who’s working super hard 🏋🏻‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ •

Since about July last year, when I decided to wake up and realise I had been in a cloud of not eating properly for about 2 years, and restricting my food and virtually living off so called "Meal replacement shakes" - which I was also under the illusion where good for me (Please do NOT fall for their chat about it being healthy!!) 🤦🏻‍♀️ I started to eat really whole foods, not just fluids, I have gained about 10-12lbs, this has made me a even more insecure about my body (I have always had issues around my body and food anyway - which many of you know if you have followed me for a while). I was over exercising, and not eating properly,  and it had left me in a vicious cycle of anxiety over missing workout's and this stopped me from doing a LOT of thing's as I felt I couldn't miss a Bootcamp or run, as I would gain weight. THIS IS WRONG! MISSING 1 OR 2 OR EVEN 5 workouts will not make you lose your fitness levels. 🙅🏻‍♀️ The aim, has been mostly to get a grip on my relationship with food, and to not let it take over my life anymore, and to workout (Weather that is a run, gym session or Yoga) to make my body feel better, not as punishment for something I ate. 🤞🏽 This is still an ongoing battle with my brain, but I am mostly, at a much happier and healthier place with my food and body. 
My mum said to me a while ago "You look amazing you should be super proud of yourself" I pointed out my weight gain, and that really, when is ANYONE ever happy with themselves 100%. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What I should have said is Thank you. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am proud of myself & how far I’ve come (not always, but mostly!). I have worked hard and continue to do so.

My weight does not define me (or I am trying to make that the the case!). •
I would like to say Thank you to all of my friends and family who have helped me with this, who have been super patient and kind, and continue to support me. 😍🙌🏼 •

We are over the HUMP now. Have a fab evening you wonderful lot. 💖

Значит, пришло время тратить её с пользой

Начали день с легкой пробежки в Лужниках с @tendre_ma. Сказочная осень здесь выглядит особенно чудесно (посмотрите сами)
И, как всегда, погода нам благоволит ☀️ ⠀
☕️ Закрепили магию утра стаканчиком вкусного кофе
⠀
И я помчалась в @swimgymclub 🏋️‍♀️
⠀
👀 Немного позанималась в зале (завтра тело подскажет, насколько немного 😄)
👀 Красиво вошла в бассейн в шапочке @grom.club (красивым был только вход 🙈)
👀 Погрелась в сауне (моя любимая часть тренировки 😋)
👀 Дома смазала потрудившиеся мышцы гелем IcePower Hot @icepowereurasia (скоро расскажу об этом чудесном средстве 🔥)

Сейчас бы ещё полежала в кровати для полного счастья, но, как говорится, в среду не без ученика 👩‍🏫

The past 16 weeks of focused training ahead of NYC Marathon seems to have flown by, a blur of training run after training run. Summer was a blast, every run was fun, even those days I hit three sessions it felt right. Fast forward to 2.5 weeks out and time is passing slow, very blurry, runs feel harder, less often inspired by the greatness of my last jaunt. That was until I reassessed TIME.
•
I work hard. I train hard. I run for me. Whatever time I cross that line in does not define me - as a runner or a person. I will run with a smile. Every step of the way. Show up & fly, that’s what makes me, me and you, you.
•
I challenge you to run without a watch or time constraint this week, just once and feel that extra running love for what it is not what it says it is.
