The story starts from the mysterious place with a novel social structure which is governed by the Artificial Intelligence. However, one of the characters, because of his daughter's curiosity, finds out that AI was created by people and starts to dig into the history of the period previous to humanity collapse. On their journey, he tries to recreate all the technology and to find answers to her questions. After learning quantum physics, he has the theory that the Universe is a simulation and wants to break out and conquer the world which created him. For that, he needs to find the loophole of space-time and goes into the center of the black hole. Then, the "real" story begins, and it ends with the unification of art and science, and answering all her questions: Is time an illusion? Why does mathematics work in our Universe, and what is the meaning of it? Do we have free will? What was before the Big Bang? But leaves the bigger question to be answered.

UK company @wootzano has created an electronic skin that gives robots the ability to touch and feel objects the way humans do. Named Wootzkin, the material, made from electrodes on a modified elastomer, gives feedback on humidity, temperature, force and pressure.

This tech could be used to help robots safely handle delicate objects like fruit, and might one day be applied to prosthetic limbs.

  • Found this old board tonight while looking through boxes. I think it's a BotBoard 2.
Was the brains of my first robot, and got heavily modded. Added some ram daughter boards to bump it up to 64k, and a SA1027 (stepper controller) and bits on the prototyping area.
Must see if it still works.... #makersgonnamake #maker #robotics #hobbyelectronics
