  • Monday lunch for me & my kids because no school today! 🥗 Easy and tasty 😋Loaded with nutrients. Fuel for my fitness goals and for my kiddos’ proper growth. Being healthy is NOT a trend, it IS a lifestyle. It does not mean my family eats 100% clean 24/7. I make sure my family understands a healthy lifestyle means “balance”. If over the weekend we indulge in less nutritious but yummy foods, we also very much enjoy a fresh meal the next day. 
Be a role model for your little ones. Eat meals 🍽 together as often as possible. I particularly made sure I ate most meals with my kids in their early stages of life. Children are great imitators! 🐵 The more they see you enjoying nutritious foods, the easier will be their acceptance for them as well.

  • Dinner before dinner. 
I was really nervous the detox drink was going to tastes terrible. To our surprise, it taste like really good. The consistency is very weird though. We have to take 3 a day for the next week before meals, so I'm glad it's not yucky. 
I feel amazing though and loving every bit of this. 
Cleaning out your system is a complete game changer and will definitely let you know where your will power stands. 
It will test your limits mentally and physically but that's what it all about. You can do anything you put your find to. 
Day 8 dinner is cooking and we are both killing it with NO CAFFEINE NO ALCOHOL and now NO MEAT or DAIRY. Cheers to the next two weeks being completely vegan. .

  • My meal prep looks a bit different this week. Today is Day One of a 21 day cleanse. Something I swore I would never do... 🤣😂 #lookatmenow 
I’m excited to reap the benefits of removing toxins and certain foods from my diet and see the changes that will happen over the next 21 days! I have been on this health and fitness  journey consistently for 4 years... and sometimes ya just need a reset. 
Breakfasts- Oatmeal with berries or big plate of fruit 🍓🥣
Lunch- Micro-greens salad with pumpkin seeds, homemade creamy garlic dressing and avocado, 🥑🥬Mediterranean quinoa salad or Greek salad with chicken. 
Dinner- Salmon, asparagus, veggies or huge yummy stir fry with sweet potato and quinoa. 🥦🥕🍠
Snack- Apple with almond butter & of course my superfoods 
I will also be drinking a gallon of mineralized water and added supplements.

  • I contemplated on grabbing a cup of coffee this past weekend because I had the internal dialogue of “It has been 14 days already, my tolerance should be back to normal now. It has been long enough.”

I reminded myself that I set out to do 30 days caffeine-free, not 14 days. Additionally, it has been noticeable that I don’t struggle to fall asleep at night the past two weeks. That has been the biggest benefit.

The whole point if a retreat is to remove yourself from your day to day life, to remove everything which is not essential to your existence and take time to reset your mind and body, to clean out your mind and body and to gain a fresh perspective on your life and indeed on life itself. Coming on one of our retreats gives us a much needed break from the daily grind. It improves our health and well-being at every level. Heading into work, traffic is good and out of my 4 LONG days this is one of my shorter ones!🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’m definitely happy about that.

I’m 11 hours into my 60 hour reboot! This will be the 12th one I have completed. They all have been a good experience, yet a little different each time! Routinely though I get a bit tired and cold.

  • Tonight I start my next 60 hour fast. Over the weekend I had a friends birthday celebrations and I definitely indulged in both food and alcohol. The way my stomach feels today I am definitely paying for it, so there is no better time to give my digestive system a well deserved break and reset my metabolism 🍽

  • Let’s talk about lunch.... day one of my reset/cleanse and well I am stuffed! Tbh this salad was more than enough and I actually only got down 1/3 of the miso soup because I was so full!
You expect to “starve” when you hear the word “diet” or “cleanse” but that just isn’t true! You don’t have to go hungry to lose weight or be healthier!

A day off is what I needed! My body was feeling very worn down yesterday from this quick move. So a day of R&R, small projects, light cleaning, and lots of good food + Netflix is what I needed. Today on the mat, I gave attention to my precious body. It’s given me the boost I need to whip this place into a home this week!!!

  • Starting my first egg fast out strong today! I went with deviled eggs for dinner tonight and I’m going to check out some of the resources a few of you sent to me so I can make a game plan for the next few days.

These deviled eggs are SUPER easy. I cut the hard boiled eggs half and went with a 1:1 ratio of egg to mayo. Then I added a small squeeze of spicy brown mustard and a pinch of salt for some flavor. After filling the egg halves they got a small sprinkle of paprika.

  • RESET Day 6 Dinner:  Zucchini Cashew Soup & Baked Veggies. 
Almost finished with week one!  For the most part the food has been enjoyable.  I actually find the portions to feel large but realize my body needs a larger portion than I am used to when eating mostly fruits and veggies.  The baked veggies tonight were actually REALLY good.  Sweet potato, beets, carrots and onion with olive oil and sea salt.  I think it’s a recipe I’ll try again after the RESET.

Power Greens.  Okay so not gonna lie.  Power Greens are as far from yummy as possible. BUT they are super important in helping your body rebalance so you gotta take them.  Power Greens are a combination of kale, matcha green tea, cucumber, celery, spinach and chlorella. 
You take them once a day in the afternoon for the entire 21 Day duration of the RESET.  I find that drinking them super fast (like a shot) with a small amount of cold water is the best way to tackle them.  Some people like adding a dash of lemon juice as well.

I’m not doing this for anyone else, but 𝐌𝐄. It’s been a solid month since I’ve had meat and I feel amazing. I’m 6 weeks into my Barre Program and can’t wait to share my results and in 34 days we set out to Punta Cana with my Team to celebrate our hard work and why not go ahead and turn 37 while I’m there. ⁣
⁣
This 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐓 is amazing. This will be my 4th one and it’s when I say I feel my best after this I mean it. This cleanse is work. You can’t always prep everything, you will have to say no to things you might otherwise “accept”, you have to mentally stay strong when your cravings coming knocking at the door. Guess what, I’ve stopped using the excuses though because my health is a priority. ⁣

When you use the excuses you don’t have the time to feel better about yourself, what do you mean? ⁣
⁣
Do you mean you just aren’t ready to make yourself a priority? Stop freaking saying it to yourself. We all have the same 24 hrs in the day and I’m tired of hearing let’s chat after vacation, girl I work late, girl o have to wake up early. All of these are excuses.⁣

If getting healthy and feeling good is important to you girl you will make it a priority. That’s exactly what I’ve done for the past 4.5 years and trust me when i say it’s the BEST decision you will every make !! ⁣

Did it affect you physically or emotionally? We're often confronted with the unexpected, which can make us feel anxious and uncertain, and which can lead to unhealthy choices. Before you go to bed, it's crucial that you take stock of your physical and emotional well-being today, and reflect on what you can change tomorrow.

My friends, people want to learn about this wonderful program that we do. We have to let them know that it isn't just about exercising every day. Its more than that. It's about  nutrition, portion control, mindset, and must importantly the support. We have a community of amazing women and men who encourage and get encouraged to keep loving and trusting the process. Mentally and physically

  • My meal prep looks a bit different this week. Today is Day One of a 21 day cleanse. Something I swore I would never do... 🤣😂 #lookatmenow

Breakfasts- Oatmeal with berries or big plate of fruit 🍓🥣
Lunch- Micro-greens salad with pumpkin seeds, homemade creamy garlic dressing and avocado, 🥑🥬Mediterranean quinoa salad or Greek salad with chicken. 
Dinner- Salmon, asparagus, veggies or huge yummy stir fry with sweet potato and quinoa. 🥦🥕🍠
Snack- Apple with almond butter & of course my superfoods 
I will also be drinking a gallon of mineralized water and added supplements.
