OMG these pancakes are CRAZY!

Protein pancakes are typically dense and hearty, not light and fluffy...until now.
.

This incredibly fun texture is created by folding whipped egg whites into our protein-enhanced batter! .

Give it a try the next time that you are craving fluffy pancakes but want to stay on track with your fitness results :)

SERVES 6
•
½ cup Frosted Vanilla Cake Protein Powder
•
½ cup rolled oats
•
¼ teaspoon baking soda​
•
½ teaspoon baking powder​
•
½ teaspoon sea salt
•
1 teaspoon vanilla extract​
•
½ cup cottage cheese
•
½ cup almond milk
•
½ teaspoon Lemon Zest
•
1 egg yolk
•
4 egg whites
•
1 tablespoon granular Swerve

1. Preheat your pancake griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat.
.

2. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a food processor. Pulse to combine until smooth.
.

3. Add the vanilla extract, cottage cheese, almond milk, lemon zest and egg yolk. Blend until smooth.
.

4. Use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites and Swerve until stiff peaks form. Gently mix the egg whites into the batter.
.

5.Use a paper towel to carefully rub coconut oil on your preheated griddle or skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Use a ¼ cup to scoop the batter onto the griddle in nice big circles. When bubbles form, flip the pancakes to cook on the other side. Cover when cooking the second side for about a minute to help cook the middle of the pancake. .

6. Serve with fresh fruit and a drizzle of pure maple syrup.

  • ✨Muffin Yogurt Parfait✨you guys, this recipe is SO easy, healthy, and extremely satisfying! we won’t blame you if you make this one 3x a week!

Ingredients:
• Bananas (chopped)
• Greek yogurt
• Whipped topping (we used @truwhip)
• Chocolate chips
• banana slices for garnish
• 1 modern muffin! (We used our banana chocolate chip muffin)

Directions: gently, crush muffin with your hands. Place a few at the bottom of a parfait glass or any small, clear glass. Mix together a spoonful of yogurt and a spoonful of whipped topping in a separate bowl. Add a dollop on top of the muffin. Next, toss in some bananas. Repeat: muffin, topping, bananas. Finish with topping and place a few chocolate chips and a couple of banana slices!🍌🍫

Simply eating more food is going to be an increase in calories which goes against what we are trying to achieve for fat loss (a calorie deficit)

This approach includes eating foods with a lot of water and fiber, since both increase your sense of fullness thus helping you to eat less overall.

You would eat a lot more of

fruits
vegetables
low-fat dairy
whole grains
beans
lean meat

You know the good stuff you should already be eating.

Try it, just have a whole week of whole high fibre whole foods and see how full you feel. .

  • 𝐎𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝! 
For many people the morning commute has gone from a school run or a drive to the office, to a walk from the kitchen to the makeshift home office (mine happens to be on my kitchen island.... a grand total of 5 steps away from the kettle!) Its tempting with this extra time to spend a little longer in bed but with with the promise of breakfast pizza I would be happy to set my alarm just a little earlier! 
This breakfast dish is delicious, fun and a welcome break from the usual breakfast routine. The recipe below is just one suggestion however the choice of toppings is yours- get creative! Love pizza as much as I do? Make 2 and save one for lunch! 
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 - 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝟒
⭐️ 4 - 6-inch round flatbreads/ pita (wholegrain if possible)
⭐️ 1 cup of shredded cheese
⭐️ 1 clove of minced garlic ( 1/2 tsp of pre prepared puree’d garlic) ⭐️ 4 eggs ⭐️ 4 tbsp tomato puree ⭐️ 1 small thinly sliced red onion/ 2 green spring onions.
⭐️ Fresh or dried herbs such as oregano or basil, I love to add dried chilli flakes
⭐️ 4 thinly sliced mushrooms ⭐️ 1 chopped pepper
𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 🥦Veg - peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, spinach 🥚Protein - lean bacon, ham, chicken, smoked tofu, veggie sausage 🧀Cheese - any type of cheese Yum! I work on about 1/4 cup per serving of loosely packed grated cheese 🍕The base - I have used pitta or wrap before and this worked just as well. 
If I am feeling fancy - I might cook some veggies, sauté some garlic and even add a couple of chopped sun-dried tomatoes to my pizza.

1 - Turn on your oven to 220c or 200c fan.
2 - Mix together the tomato puree with garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper and the herbs and spices you have choose to use in a small dish. 
3 - Lay out the 4 flat brad/pita on a baking sheet and spread out 1/4 of the tomato mix on to each pizza base 
4 - Layer up your toppings leaving a shallow well in the middle of your pizza to crack your egg
5 - Cook your pizza for 6 -7 minutes (dependant on how you like your egg yolk)

    For many people the morning commute has gone from a school run or a drive to the office, to a walk from the kitchen to the makeshift home office (mine happens to be on my kitchen island.... a grand total of 5 steps away from the kettle!) Its tempting with this extra time to spend a little longer in bed but with with the promise of breakfast pizza I would be happy to set my alarm just a little earlier!
    This breakfast dish is delicious, fun and a welcome break from the usual breakfast routine. The recipe below is just one suggestion however the choice of toppings is yours- get creative! Love pizza as much as I do? Make 2 and save one for lunch!
    𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 - 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝟒
    ⭐️ 4 - 6-inch round flatbreads/ pita (wholegrain if possible)
    ⭐️ 1 cup of shredded cheese
    ⭐️ 1 clove of minced garlic ( 1/2 tsp of pre prepared puree’d garlic) ⭐️ 4 eggs ⭐️ 4 tbsp tomato puree ⭐️ 1 small thinly sliced red onion/ 2 green spring onions.
    ⭐️ Fresh or dried herbs such as oregano or basil, I love to add dried chilli flakes
    ⭐️ 4 thinly sliced mushrooms ⭐️ 1 chopped pepper
    𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 🥦Veg - peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, spinach 🥚Protein - lean bacon, ham, chicken, smoked tofu, veggie sausage 🧀Cheese - any type of cheese Yum! I work on about 1/4 cup per serving of loosely packed grated cheese 🍕The base - I have used pitta or wrap before and this worked just as well.
    If I am feeling fancy - I might cook some veggies, sauté some garlic and even add a couple of chopped sun-dried tomatoes to my pizza.

  • COTTAGE CHEESE PANCAKES🥞 
Today marks the best pancake recipe I’ve made yet. I know a lot of people will be turned off thinking about adding cottage cheese to pancakes, but I promise you it’s worth the risk. Once you’ve blended the batter you can’t even taste the cottage cheese! •
[RECIPE🥰]
1/2 cup of oats 
90g of cottage cheese

[DIRECTIONS]

📝Vi lasciamo la ricetta che abbiamo seguito:
x 3 DORAYAKI grandi:
🥞2 uova intere (o 1 uovo e 2 albumi per una versione più leggera)
🥞40g di xylitolo o altro dolcificante a scelta
🥞10g di miele 🥞5g di olio di cocco o semi
🥞80g di farina di farro (o 00 o avena)
🥞1 cucchiaio di acqua 🥞1 cucchiaino di bicarbonato 🥞1 cucchiaino di lievito

🥞Per prima cosa sbattere con una frusta le uova con il dolcificante, il miele e l’olio finché le uova non saranno diventate spumose.
🥞Aggiungere al composto tutta la farina senza setacciare, il bicarbonato e il lievito e iniziare a mescolare fino ad ottenere un composto liscio e omogeneo. E come ultimo ingrediente unire un cucchiaio di acqua 🥞Lasciare il composto riposare un frigo per 15min
🥞Scaldare una padella antiaderente e usare un mestolo di composto per ogni pancake. Quando inizieranno a comparire le bolle in superficie, girare il pancake e cuocere per qualche altro minuto
🥞Far raffreddare leggermente i pancakes, farcire con crema preferita. 🥞Usare della pellicola trasparente per avvolgere i pancakes e lasciare in frigo per almeno 30min. In questo modo aderiranno tra loro e resteranno sigillati.

  • Micul dejun in carantina este si pranzul pentru mine in zilele cand nu am antrenament.
Da, 3 mese si 2 gustari este cea mai sifonata toerie a nutritiei pentru o femeie sanatoasa. 
Nu mai vorbesc despre cele care nu au copii si activitatea fizica este una foarte redusa, iar toata miscarea inseamna o plimbare din bucatarie in dormitor si din baie in sufragerie. 
Grasimi sanatoase, proteine de calitate si mult verde e un echilibru usor de atins, doar daca exista informare. 
Suplimente de calitate, 3-4 litri de apa, #selflove si asa va trece inca o luna pe care nu apucam sa o traim si simtim. 
Cine se mai plange acum ca nu are timp ? 
Avem suficient si nu stim ce sa facem cu el. Ce paradox.

INGREDIENTS for 5 Donuts:
💘35g Salted Caramel Quest Protein Powder
💘2 tbsp Coconut Flour
💘2 oz NF Greek Yogurt
💘2 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk
💘3 tbsp Egg Whites
💘1 tsp Stevia
💘10 raspberries

DIRECTIONS:
💘Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
💘Mix 30g protein powder & flour together before mixing in Yogurt, milk, stevia, & egg Whites
💘Mix in 6 raspberries (they’ll break up as you mix them in!)
💘Place mix in silicone donut mold & bake for 12 minutes
💘As donuts are baking, mash 4 raspberries & mix with 5g protein powder & 1/2 tbsp water to make donut glaze
💘Remove donuts from oven & flip silicone mold over a tray or plate & the donuts should just fall out🙌
💘Top with glaze & enjoy😋

The silicone donut mold I use I got on Amazon! (I have a link on my site under “My Favorite Kitchen Tools”) But you could also make this recipe in muffin form by baking them in a nonstick cupcake pan for 10 minutes! AND you could also use chocolate or vanilla protein powder instead! I just love the Salted Caramel flavor 😋

  • PEANUT & CHOCOLATE OATS // I’ve spent a lot of the weekend realising the greed and response of humans when faced with a crisis. Just placing an online order for a weekly food shop became an ordeal! I was sent videos of the queues at Costco yesterday. I mean it’s literally ridiculous! There is no regard for those who are vulnerable such as the elderly. Don’t they need food? How do they do that if everyone has stock piled and cleared the shelves?! What about those who are less fortunate? Those that only have enough money to buy food essentials for a few days at a time? Do people want to leave anything for them to buy? I get the gravity of the situation in front of us, but if attitudes were different, the anxiety that’s created would reduce. I feel people are causing more anxiety than this virus itself! Our children are watching everything we do. Is this what we are teaching them? That this is the way to respond to stress?!
Anyway, enough about that! Breakfast today was @momafoods Jumbo Oats, mixed with @thatprotein Nutty Nutty Peanut Protein, @nushfoods Natural Almond M•lk Yog, @organicburst Maca Powder and @alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk. Topped with @sweetfreedomuk Choc Shot, @nakdwholefoods Peanut Delight Bar, @pipandnut Smooth Peanut Butter, @naturya Cacao Nibs, banana & @lindtuk Dark Chocolate. 🥜🍫

Tak jak zdecydowaliście w ankiecie, dziś wrzucam przepis na te boskie naleśniczki, inspirowane batonikiem Kinder Bueno.😍
Idealne na weekendowe śniadanko lub obiad, kolacje...
Te naleśniki to proteinowa bomba! 🔥
Aż 40 g białka w porcji! 🙈
Porcja 2 naleśników: 566 kcal, B: 40 g, T: 24,5 , 
W: 48,7 g.

✨białko jajka (u mnie pół jajka bo robiłam z podwójnej porcji i dałam całe jajko)
✨ 35 g mąki pszennej
✨ 3 g oliwy z oliwek

✨ szczypta soli
✨ 2 słodziki rozgniecione

Twaróg wymieszać z jogurtem i rozdrobnionym słodzikiem. Naleśniki smarować kremem (10g na naleśnika) i twarogiem nadzieniem. Przygotować polewę. 😊

✨ 7 g gorzkiej czekolady
✨ 1,5 łyżki mleka
✨ + 4 g posiekanych orzechów laskowych (dałam ziemne, z braku laskowych)
Czekoladę z mlekiem rozpuścić w mikrofalówce lub kąpieli wodnej.
Polewą udekorować naleśniczki, wierzch posypać orzechami. 😊
