  • Van een aantal volgers heb ik de vraag gehad wat ik nou precies doe als ik thuis sport. Sinds januari sport ik bijna elke ochtend met de maandelijkse workout kalender (zie foto 2) van @blogilates op advies van mijn bestie @sakicosplaynl die al bijna 10 jaar de workouts van Cassey Ho wekelijks doet. Stefanie begon met de youtube videos, later de PITT28 programma van 28 dagen en is door de jaren heen een body & mind transformatie ondergaan door haar sterke wilskracht en discipline (zie foto 3). Nu volgt ze al jaren haar eigen trainingsschema’s met de youtube videos van Blogilates.

De videos van Blogilates zijn pilates fitness workouts wat je thuis kan beoefenen met of zonder trainingsmateriaal. De workouts zijn in principe voor iedereen. Je kunt altijd de lagere opties pakken als je nog niet zo flexibel bent of zoveel kracht hebt. Als je je inschrijft voor haar nieuwsbrief krijg je maandelijks een workout kalender toegestuurd per mail. Dit is helemaal gratis. Op de kalender staan per dag een aantal videos’s per spiergroep die je kunt volgen voor een complete workout van 45-50 min. Als je minder tijd hebt pak je de kortere workouts van die dag (zorg wel voor een goede warm-up voor je begint en een cool down als je klaar bent). Geen zin om in te schrijven voor de nieuwsbrief maar wel de workout kalender uit proberen? Wat je kunt doen is mijn youtube kanaal (link in bio) volgen en naar mijn afspeellijsten kijken. Daar staan de video’s per dag vanaf februari netjes in een afspeellijst, scheelt je wat zoekwerk. .

Cassey is enthousiast, kletst graag (soms teveel maar je bent toch lekker bezig) en geeft mooie adviezen tijdens het sporten door. Het resultaat mag er ook wezen, ik had als doel, mij fit en lekker in mijn lijf voelen. Geen obsessie meer van de perfecte lijf, maar gewoon tevreden hoe het is. En zo voel ik mij nu ook 🥰

We all appreciated this so, so much!! It's been crazy for everyone at my hospital to adjust to the daily changes as this health crisis continues, but it's also amazing to see how we're all working together to help those needing advanced medical care!! 💚🧪👩‍🔬 A huge win is that my hospital laboratory system is doing our own in-house COVID-19 testing now, which decreases the time suspected patients need to be in isolation, thus decreasing the much needed PPE being used. 😷 I'm so grateful to work with such caring & hardworking people!! 💚🏥. ——⁣

  • When I'm stressed, on-edge, or frustrated I tend to react angrily due to those feelings regardless who I'm speaking to. Unfortunately, the stress of "quarantine" has not only made me more stressed than usual, but my poor husband is cooped up with me and often the subject of my frustration even though he wasn't the cause. It's been a huge goal of mine to not make snap reactions as often and quarantine has seen me take a few steps back in my progress 😩 but TODAY my win is that I didn't let the little things get to me. I'm trying to live by this: life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to those things.

Read that again. 90% of our happiness in life can be shaped by how we decide to process and deal with the crazy things that are thrown our way! It's our mindset. ❤️❤️❤️ Now it's your turn! What's your win? Use the second image to share!

  • Finished the Blogilates March 2020 Workout Calendar! Even though I missed one day of 31, I pushed through the rest of the month and I've never felt better. At first, it was just for the vanity of it all, but as time went on I wanted to work out because I enjoyed it and I wanted to make my body stronger.💪 Doing Blogilates really changed my perspective on exercise and shifted my focus to becoming stronger, rather than just skinny or toned.

  • I did it!! That first video had me dying and I thought I recorded the entire workout in the second video but I guess my phone had other plans. Oh well! Today's workout put me in a better mood and I was so proud to be able to do most of the moves I saw today. Also, I used a colour depositing conditioner on my hair yesterday and it decided to dye the entire back half of my body while it was at it. So if you noticed that my back looks a little extra purple today, that's why. .

  • So...the thing with staying at home during this whole corona virus situation is...that I really miss my weekend trips and going to the poledance studio.
My daily schedule is pretty much the same - except that I do not have to commute to and from work which saves me over an hour every day.
I use this time for a 30 minute morning session of #poppilates and a little walk before I start work. Then, I after work, I do another #workoutsession - either strength or #hiit or #poledance and #stretching 
But what really gets me is,that there is hardly a difference on the weekends.Usually, we were planning what to do or where to go on the weekends...now it is more like "shall we watch netflix or disney+?" 🤷‍♀️
I really, really hope, that this situation will be brought under control rather sooner than later. I know that we will not just go "back to normal", but being able to drive elsewhere for an afternoon is really something I am looking forward to 💕💕

    My daily schedule is pretty much the same - except that I do not have to commute to and from work which saves me over an hour every day.
    I use this time for a 30 minute morning session of #poppilates and a little walk before I start work. Then, I after work, I do another #workoutsession - either strength or #hiit or #poledance and #stretching
    But what really gets me is,that there is hardly a difference on the weekends.Usually, we were planning what to do or where to go on the weekends...now it is more like "shall we watch netflix or disney+?" 🤷‍♀️
    I really, really hope, that this situation will be brought under control rather sooner than later. I know that we will not just go "back to normal", but being able to drive elsewhere for an afternoon is really something I am looking forward to 💕💕

Benefits of Camel Pose:
Reduces fat on thighs.

  • Just because you’re home now in quarantine doesn’t mean that you will create new habits and a new routine for yourself. You’ve thought, “maybe tomorrow I’ll make a healthy breakfast and get a workout in.” But did you actually do it?

You can say, “ugh, everything is so hard right now. I’m so UNMOTIVATED to do anything.” I get that. But you have to power through! You have to DISCIPLINED! .
Be adamant how you use this time. You can create a whole new life for yourself during this quarantine. Are you going to let this BREAK you? Or are you going to let this MAKE you? You decide.
