  • Took this monkey to the top of Camelback Mountain today. The trail is rated “extremely difficult” and leads to the highest natural point in Phoenix. Fun hike. Life is good.

  • One of my favorite sports is beach volleyball. One reason is because I have the best partner, my friend Grace. Grace and I have been friends for a while now because of our love in beach volleyball. You will be seeing Grace again. Have a great day!

Texas RV Park
This campground has been my least favorite, by far. I could go on and on about why, but I’ll just give you the basic idea. For one thing, as you can see in the 2nd picture, the amount of trash that was EVERYWHERE, was absolutely insane, and so disheartening to me. They didn’t make one bit of effort to keep it clean. Another reason, was that the staff were not helpful at all. I went into the office to get our mail, told the woman our name, and she barely glanced at the shelf before telling me there was nothing there for us. I asked if she was sure and then looked for myself, and sure enough, both of our packages were there. I’m not trying to seem dramatic, but if you are going to work at somewhere you should try to be a little helpful. 😂 We will definitely not be staying at this park again... 🤷‍♀️

Wilderness Lakes RV Resort
We had a great stay at this campground!
It has tons of amenities, like, a clubhouse, laundry room, bathhouse, playground, dog park, and a pool. There are also plenty of extra things to do and see, like bocce ball tournaments, potlucks, hiking/bike trails, craft clubs, and a library. The park itself is really clean and nice, but the roads definitely need to be fixed, there are TONS of huge potholes that make it extremely difficult to drive a rig through. Since the park is surrounded by woods, there are plenty of animals that can be spotted throughout the park. Birds, deer, turtles, are most common, but if you happen to get lucky you can also spot, raccoons, alligators, and snakes.

Whispering Oaks RV Park
We stayed at this campground for about a month, and had a pretty good stay. It had some amenities, such as, a clubhouse with a tv and mini library, a playground, and a small store. Although we had a good stay, we still had a few negative experiences. The day we got to the park, they had given our specifically requested spot away to someone else, which was strange since they were the ones who asked if we had a request.🤷‍♀️ The people left the next day so we were able to move to the spot we originally wanted anyway. Another negative was the crazy amount of trains that would come throughout the day. Even at times like 1am 3am and 6am. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they didn’t blow their horn so many times. 😂 The campground is about halfway between Houston, Katy, and Austin, so it’s a good place to be for day trips. Although it’s about 30 minutes from the nearest normal sized Walmart, which isn’t ideal if you don’t want to spend a fortune on gas.

Westwood Too RV Park
This is going to be a pretty short review because there is almost nothing to talk about. 🤷‍♀️ The park is only a few months old, and the office is still being built, which is why it has no amenities. Despite that, we had a nice stay, it was really quiet and is really close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. It is also about an hour from Dallas, and 20-30 minutes away from some other smaller cities and towns. Also, I figured I would use some of the drone photos courtesy of one of our friends at the park. 😃

Lakeside RV Park
*this is going to be a longer review than normal. Sorry! 🤷‍♀️*
I really hate to be so negative, but this was honestly my least favorite campground that we have been to. First, I’m going to list the pros of the park.
It had a ton of amenities, including a game room, a bath/shower-house, walking path, adult lounge, community room, playground, and a giant lake for fishing and boating. Ok, onto the cons. Our site was backed up to a really busy road with only a small fence between the two. The traffic noises at night were incredibly loud and obnoxious, and my family and I agreed that we did not get one good nights sleep throughout our stay. There were also a few instances of a man, who was staying a few sites down from us, coming back very obviously drunk sometime between 1 & 2am. He made tons of noise (slamming doors, blasting his outdoor tv, talking loudly to himself, driving his VERY loud truck around, etc...) and was being very disruptive. The first time this happened, we called & left a message for the office. By the time they sent security out he had already gone back inside, and they said since they didn’t catch him doing it, there was nothing they were going to do about it. It happened again on another night, we left another message about it, and this time, they completely ignored us. My parents were obviously not too happy about that. 😂 Overall, there were definitely more cons than pros. The park was pretty pricey, and was definitely not worth the money or the aggravation. We wouldn’t stay there again.
