  • [ENG👇] PAPAS DE MAÇÃ E AMENDOIM 🍏 Bom dia e uma feliz segunda feira a todos! Uma semana nova que começa e estou mesmo motivada para ser mais produtiva! O facto de estarmos em quarentena distrai me bastante e faz com que não me sinta tao empenhada como antes, serei a única? 🤔 Portanto vou tentar criar uma rotina que me permita alcançar os meus objetivos! Mas antes disso, um pequeno almoço DELICIOSO. Adoro manteigas de frutos secos e adoro fruta, maçã e manteiga de amendoim e aquela combinação deliciosa. Nestas papas usei a manteiga de amendoim, maca e canela da @blissoutfoods (super boa!) e ralei a maçã para as papas enquanto coziam (faz toda a diferença ralar ou cortar em pedaços, eu prefiro falar). Deixei cozer, juntei mais um pouco de manteiga no final e ficou está maravilha 🤩.

[ENG] APPLE PEANUT PORRIDGE 🍏 Good morning and happy Monday! Monday’s always get me on being more productive, specially now under the quarentine situation. But before being all very productive let’s have some delicious breakfast like this one: the combo of apple and peanut butter is just amazing, and the trick is to grate the apple into the oatmeal while it cooks (don’t cut it grate it, trust me 😅). Then add some more peanut butter to the end of the cooking to make it even more creamy and delicious!

  • Banana caramel oatmeal bowl🤓

1. Mash half a banana and mix with 50 grams of oats and 150 milliliters of soy milk. Microwave (I’m lazy) for 1 minute
2. Make your own vegan caramel sauce by combining 1 tsp of peanut butter and 1 tsp of coconut condensed milk. Microwave for 10 seconds to make it a smooth consistency.
3. Top your bowl with the other half of the banana, chia seeds, linseeds, walnuts and the vegan caramel 
4. Enjoy!

Der Montag beginnt natürlich wieder mit home 🏡 schooling 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Ich brauche viel Kraft und das kann ich natürlich in Form von einem gesunden, Frühstück gut zu mir nehmen und außerdem haben wir wieder Winter ❄️ draußen , also warme Porridge 🥣 passt perfekt.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and is feeling okay! It can be hard to stay positive in times like this I mean I must admit I was perfectly fine and trying to look at it positively but today I feel overwhelming sad I can’t see my boyfriend, my friends, my family and it’s all meant to last until June 😞. On a positive note at least nor me and my family are ill from it! Although I am so sorry for the people who’s loved ones may be ill or may have even died from this virus. Always feel free to message me if you feel you are struggling ❤️.

🍋Recipe🍋
-In a pan combine 1 tbsp of ground almound,1 tbsp of flaxseeds, 1/2 the zest of a lemon, 1 cup of oats, 1 cup of oat milk, 1/2 cup of water and 1 tbsp of syrup (I used agave nectar) -Leave to soak for 10 mins (this will help the oats absorb the liquid)
-Heat the mixture up and bring to the boil
-Reduce heat and leave to simmer until thickened
-While the mixture is simmer cook the blueberries in a small pan for about 2 mins until you get a rough compote -Remove oats from heat and top with the blueberry compote and what ever other toppings you like (as you can see I had another dollop of syrup, some crushed almounds and @alpro plain yogurt)

  • milesbeforebreakfast Happy Sunday! How's everyone doing? I had a long solo run in the sun followed by these date and cinnamon overnight oats with roast plums, blueberries and peanut butter. How to 👇 Hope you're all ok and aren't going to stir crazy. An early run is the most precious time for me at the moment. I've never needed it more. And praise be my injury seems to be really recovering well. Now to stay put at home. Stay safe and well everyone.

To make:
- Soak 1/3 cup rolled oats in 100ml oat milk with a pinch of ground cinnamon and a large date chopped into small pieces. Leave in the fridge overnight.
- In the morning heat a little vegan butter in a pan and add plum halves. Sauté until golden brown and soft.
- While the plums are cooking stir in a spoonful of soy yoghurt to your overnight oats.
- Add the oats to a bowl, top with plums, blueberries, banana and a big spoonful of crunchy peanut butter. I used my fav @pipandnut of course!
- Enjoy!

this is one of my all time favourite brekky’s especcially in Winter!!🌧this morning was the first morning thats felt cold so it was the perfect morning to have my oats🕺🏻 Recipe:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup plant mylk (i use rice, oat or soy)
1/2 chopped banana (i eat the other half while cooking hehe🤫)
drizzle organic/sustainable honey or any liquid sweetener for some added sweetness!! • this recipe can be put in the microwave for 90 seconds but i love making it on the stove! •

  • 🥞 THE WORLD’S BEST SOURDOUGH PANCAKES 🥞 // Zack and I got a sourdough starter (ours is from @kingarthurflour, and you can order it online!) early in our house arrest and we’ve been having the most fun playing with it to make bread, pancakes, and pizza crust. ⁣

    I loooove sourdough—it gives a delightful tangy flavor, but it’s also a great way to eat all the bready treats in a form that’s way easier on your gut. The bacteria in sourdough essentially pre-digests the mix, making it easier to get the nutrients out of them.   • Happy Sunday ✨ It’s been such a long time since I have made a smoothie bowl. Partly because it’s been winter and also I changed the way I eat a little bit! Although smoothie bowls are pretty they aren’t always the most practical or balanced meal. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be eating just bananas for breakfast and fruit for 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I do have quite a bit of frozen fruit in my freezer and because of lockdown I want to use everything I have before going out to get more. So I’m adding a few tips of how to make a smoothie bowl a better breakfast!

1-  Add a scoop of protein powder. This is going to make the bowl more satiating and more balanced as it won’t just be carbohydrates. I really like @formnutrition and @misfitshealth 
2- Add healthy fats. Again this will make it a more balanced meal. Add in things like a Tbsp of nut butter @pipandnut or flaxseeds or hemp seeds @linwoodshealthfoods 
3- Oats are another great addition as they contain slow realising carbohydrates and are gong to leave you feelings fuller for longer.
4- Add in veggies! Things like courgette and spinach can be great additions and won’t alter the flavour too much! 
5- When blending fruit it can be easy to over eat. Try not to add more than you would eat without blending it. Perhaps stick to 1-2 bananas and a handful of other fruit such as berries

  • Peanut butter porridge in an attempt to get ourselves ready for the first full week of home schooling- by Friday it may just be breakfast is a bowl of cake, depending on how things go 👩🏻‍🎓🤞
Porridge made with boiled water & a tbsp of peanut butter. Topped with hot bananas pan fried in a little coconut oil, a few choc chunks, pecans and cacao nibs- drizzle choice up to you!
There’s a new easy to make tomato soup recipe going up today. Will let you know when it appears.
