I’m 3 pounds DOWN this week because I’m using my containers ❤️🧡💛💚💙❤️, drinking my shake 🥤and putting in my 30 minutes 🧘🏻‍♀️ every day. 🙌🏼

I’ve been given the opportunity to become a Master Coach with our new Ultimate Portion Fix program which launched today! .
If I could do life over I would have totally gone to school for nutrition and dietetics. Who knew? 🤷🏻‍♀️

What so awesome is, the company I partner with gives the tools to educate myself in these areas. It’s the perfect solution to what I want to do with my life. I love being the healthiest I can be.  With the tools and education I have access to as a Coach, I’m able to help others learn and live to be healthier. .
I plan on living to about the age my Great Grandma  did so, I have another 50 plus to go! 👊🏼

  • Pumpkin, Apple and Turmeric Soup 
A simple blend of anti-inflammatory turmeric, roasted spiced pumpkin and apples for a touch of sweetness.

This recipe makes a large pot of six servings. Store leftovers in the fridge or freeze in batches to have on hand after those long working days. 
Ingredients 
2 tbsp coconut oil/butter 
1 tsp cumin 
1 tsp cinnamon 
1 tsp cayenne pepper 
1 small pumpkin, washed well and sliced 
2 red apples, cored and chopped 
1 tbsp freshly grated turmeric or 1 tsp ground 
4 garlic cloves, chopped 
1 red onion, chopped finely 
1L boiling water (or more depending on how thick you like it) 
Method 
1. Rub the pumpkin with the spices and a drizzle of olive oil and roast at 190c for 20-25mins or until tender. 
2. Heat the coconut oil/butter in large pot, add the garlic, onions and turmeric and cook till softened.
3. Add the apples and water, bring to a boil then simmer till the apples are soft. 
4. Add the roasted pumpkin and blend till smooth.

  • #1 Increase your fibre intake! One of the biggest changes you can make, and it has such an impact on your gut health. Try to eat more foods that are naturally high in fibres such like whole grains, fresh and dried fruit, pulses, fresh veggies! Swap your white toast to a bowl of porridge or rye bread in the morning for a start! 
#2 Add more ‘good fats’ to your diet. By good fats we mean avocadoes, nuts, seeds and oily fish.
#3: Do not cut out any food groups. Many people start dieting by cutting down on essential foods such as fat and carbohydrates. A balanced diet should contain an adequate ratio of carbohydrates, fats and protein. Drastically cutting down on any of these will result in health issues, and you will create a lifestyle that can’t be maintained. There's no such thing as 'bad food' that should be cut off your diet forever! 🌿
