Scotland’s ‘Route 66’ is a rollercoaster road of ruined castles, pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs, and charming villages.
On this 3-day tour from Inverness, your driver-guide takes you to the best spots to sample the scrumptious seafood, admire amazing landscapes, and learn the legendary tales.
- Ardvreck Castle was built by the Macleod clan in the 15th century. Jutting out into Loch Assynt, this ruin stands amongst some of the most dramatic scenery in the Scottish Highlands.

- Haven House. Our little refuge on the cliffs.
The original photograph is from the fifties or sixties. I love the stories that come tumbling out of this place. Last year a man travelled with his wife from New Zealand to visit. This was his granny’s house and where she grew up. She emigrated to NZ with her family when she was 12❤️ My little house has so much character and every day she brings me joy.
She gives me space to be creative and she (and the view) inspires me.
The only thing missing? A goat. Where is MY goat??
