  • Raise your hand if you're attending @miseconference starting this Sunday? 🖐️ If you are, you will be able to try these tasty Mac and cheese bites! 1. Truffle mushroom topped with Micro greens 2.bacon jam with balsamic glaze 3. Smoked brisket with white BBQ, sweet bbq and friend onion strings.

These are fun to eat and fun to make as well!

Say hello to chef @minefeet
While you're there.

Which one would you try? Or would it be all three?

  • Credit to from @champarani (@get_regrann) - It’s finally out! My story on how the noodle came to India, for the @cntravellerindia Asia special 🍜 🍜
In #Gujarat—maybe borrowed from traders coming to the ports—we see examples of the noodle’s journey in the sutterfeni, a flaky dessert made of thin, coiled noodles deep fried in ghee and topped with melted sugar, pistachio and almonds. Sutterfeni is considered the Indian avatar of the Persian pashmak and the Turkish pismaniye, both sweet dishes feature delicate slender strands of fried dough that resembles cotton candy 🍝🍝 Link in bio!

Big shout out to @shechter for bringing the story to life with his beautiful photos featuring my mom’s old iddiappam maker, @nikita_315 for her styling chops and @rushinamg and @shivaniunakar for all their expertise during the shoot! And thank you @diviathani for your guiding hand 🙏🏽

  • Dong Ba 2 in Cabramatta is the second shop that belong to the younger brother, where the original one been around for over 25 years.Dong Ba specialise in spicey beef soup (bun bo hue).and is well known in Sydney by all Vietnamese... unfortunately the spicy beef soup at the second shop wasn’t good at all. Very disappointed ☹️...soup was plain, meat was over cook to a point that when you try to pick it up with your chopsticks, it just felled apart. ⭐️#chinesefood #vietnamesefood #noodleworship#sydneyfood

  • We love noodles, duh, but sometimes you just want a nood that’s not going to thwap you on the chin, bite after glorious bite. There’s a time and a place for silky fork-twirling noodles but that time and place is not this. This, dear ones, is a bowlful of some gloriously sticky, umami-sweet Chili Garlic Noodles. Super adaptable, super easy (Instant Pot FTW) and super delicious.⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Place all this in the Instant Pot:⠀
1/2 cup soy sauce⠀
2 tablespoons brown sugar⠀
2 tablespoons white vinegar⠀
1 tablespoon chili garlic paste (more to taste! yumms)⠀
1 tablespoon olive oil⠀
2 cups water⠀
8 oz. uncooked brown rice noodles⠀
1 lb. raw chicken breasts, cut into small pieces⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cook for 3 minutes (manual high pressure). Release steam immediately. If you get splatter, pause, or cover with a towel. Mix in two thinly sliced red bell peppers and EAT!⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you're looking for a stovetop version, we'd recommend checking out our "Back Pocket Noodle Stir Fry" on the blog. 👍🏼⠀

  • Shoyu Ramen testing 🍜🧪 I cracked open a few bottles of soy sauce that I had in my pantry for a while. The one that got my attention is a double brewed (saishikomi) soy sauce. This is where the produces uses already brewed soy sauce in the place of water and salt in the normal brewing process. It is not overly salty, but has an intense umami flavor that almost tasted fishy to me.

I am hoping to make a simple recipe that anyone can make at home. This recipe is so far so good! I want to tweak it a bit before posting. The made the bowl with some homemade noodles and I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out!

Who else likes shoyu ramen? I haven't really been a big fan, but I am getting more and more into it!
