  • @aplrestaurant added “the burger” to its dinner menu recently.  It is certainly a value option at our favorite steakhouse (and the only place that deserves your money before or after going to the pantages). It is also delicious.  The beef is aged at least 150 days.  Served on a potato bun, with a slice of American cheese, white onion, pickles, and mustard aioli.  Simple. Order some fuck dat fries and an I love you, man.   • Decadent dinner. Black Linguini and veggies in a white wine sauce and a huuuge bowl of lemony prawns. Unpeeled prawns are my nightmare food in restaurants. The only way to truly enjoy them, is by going at them caveman-style (= using both hands and all fingers 😄), but I would never do this in a restaurant and trying to gracefully peel them with knife and fork is tedious, takes super long and the rest of the food turns cold. At home, the kitchen sink to wash your hands is close by and no one (besides #bae) stares at you when your hands are greasy, yet you are ridiculously happy about this.
Aside from the prawns and the shrooms, everything I've used were leftovers (aka slightly shriveled zucchini and tomatoes, not so perfect looking raddichio leaves). Even the prawns were on sale 😎. They were precooked and while I was prepping the pasta and veggies, the prawns marinated in oil, cilantro, parsley, garlic, chilli, ginger, lime juice and cured lemons. Just roughly chop everything, pour in the liquids and the prawns, mix and let sit for at least 15min.
When the pasta and veggies were nearly done, I tossed the prawns, marinade and all, into a hot pan and cooked them for about 5-8mins. 
Last pic shows the veggies I used 😁, white wine was about 1 1/2 glasses and a bit olive oil, spices and butter to tie it all together.
