  • It is Sunday tomorrow, and everyone wants to have something special. How about high protein, low calorie, gluten free roti or paratha?
I have been trying this recipe out for a month, and feel I have perfected it.
Recipe:
1/2 kilo lauki or kadu (bottle gourd or pumpkin green)
1 1/2 cups black gram flour (kala chana atta)
1 cup gram flour (baisan)
1/2 teaspoon ginger and garlic
1/2 teaspoon turmeric (haldi)
pinch of black pepper to activate turmeric
1 tablespoon grounded flax seed
1/4 teaspoon fennel (saunf)
1/4 teaspoon black seeds (kalonji)
1/4 teaspoon oregano seeds (ajwain) rub on your palm with thumb to activate
1 tablespoon desi ghee
Green silantro (hara dhania)
Green chillis chopped
salt to taste

Directions:
Peel and grate lauki or kadu. In a large bowl, put salt on grated vegetable, to draw out the water. Slowly start adding the flours and rest of the ingredients.
If dough is runny, then add more flour.

You can now make roti or put some more ghee and make a paratha.

I made mix achari vegetables, bhuna qeema, yogurt and chatnis.

One must remember, in order to synthesize protein, carbs, fats and vitamins, one must have pro-biotics in the gut.

  • Nikdo učený z nebes nespadl. Já poslední dobou zjišťuji, že jsem špatný v tolika věcech, ale vyčítat si to je zbytečné. Stačí se naučit danou věc od někoho zkušenějšího. Vždyť na nic nejsme samy, jen musíme chtít mít lidi kolem sebe a nebát se říct, že něco nevím/neumím, ikdyž to může být primitivní věc. Jen tak se posunete dál a bude život zajímavější.

  • Hi. There are only 2 months left in 2019 and after all this time I finally realized I need to take better care of myself . Not just physically, but emotionally. No more toxic relationships. No more slacking on spending time with friends. More time to myself doing things I enjoy. Getting back to a steady gym routine.
I let a lot of distractions and excuses get in the way and it’s time to be accountable. You are all invited to join me ❤️☺️
