  • I love a fresh haircut. My client was in the mood for a change to her short bob style so we opted for clearing out  a side of her head so she can be fresh and edgy. Looking forward to creating a color to compliment this look going forward. #neverstop

  • This time of year always makes me think back to when I decided to change my lifestyle. The girl on the left had just turned 25, & was getting ready to have my very first session with a personal trainer the following week. I never in a million years thought I would continue the lifestyle - I looked at the end result, like I had in previous attempts, which was to meet my goal of losing the weight and then probably fall back into my old habits.  I never in a million years thought that 7 YEARS later (still crazy to think it’s been that long) that I’d still be continuing on my journey. The right is my current self - I hate posting pics of me, but decided it’s worth seeing legit progress to what currently hides underneath all my baggy gym clothes all the time haha.

My goals are constantly changing. I know it’s never just going to be an end result and then stop. It’s seriously a lifestyle where your goals cyclically change. It’s a sport, it’s a stress relief, and for me, it’s everything I never knew I needed. I’m called crazy, psychotic, obsessed, and the list goes on and on every damn day. But then there are those I’ve met along my journey who get why you continue to push harder each day & push yourself past your limits. Why you WANT to not eat junk food & why you choose the healthier option, even when you go out to eat. It’s not a deprivation, it’s a choice. And to those that think I don’t...I DO treat myself. Don’t think that I don’t. Life is too short to not enjoy yourself now & again. But I know me...I’ve learned more self control because I know cheat meals turn to binges & purges. Finding the moderation is the hard part and I’m still progressing in that area. Long post per usual, but #transformationtuesday is dedicated to every single person that has been through it all with me these past 7 years. All I can say is never give up and keep doing it for YOU & no one else. All right, the end 😂

  • Today was the hardest workout that I think ever had and completed. It pushed me beyond what I thought capable but energized me when I was done.

Leg days suck for most of us but it’s just something you have to do. Trust me when I say you get back what you put in and everyday is a new one to maximize that return🦍🏋🏾‍♂️ P.S. Notice the bulk flab on me. There’s no shame in being human. Sometimes we get so caught up in the explore page we lose sight of the things we HAVE accomplished. Be you and be proud! -

Highlighted Workout 
Front Squats 5x15

You can do different variations of the initial stance including elevated. Front squats are great for developing quads! Go low weight and slow high reps to get a burn unlike any other. 
Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
